Like everyone I know with a Vitamix, my container is getting pretty scratched up and a bit cloudy, despite frequent vinegar wipes. I use my Vitamix daily so the base and my scratched and cloudy container are always on my counter for all to see. A replacement container runs about $165, so It's not something I can replace with any frequency just because my original container does not look new & pretty anymore. When I first received this Vitamix Replacement Container, I was somewhat skeptical because it looks different than the original VM 64 oz container (no black handle and no black lid), however, once I used it I was sold. First, and most important, it does work with the 7500 Series. It fits on the machine perfectly. When in use there is no wobbling or weird movement of any kind, no weird sounds during use, and it seems to blend and mix exactly the same as the original container. The lid fits securely and has a removable cap for adding ingredients . The container cleans up just as easily as the original. The only thing I have not tested in this container is making soup but I've never made soup n my original VM container so that's a moot point for me. For the price, I think this is a great replacement container for the Vitamix. In hindsight, out of the gate when I got my Vitamix, I would have ordered this container as a back up and used it as the workhorse, leaving the original container for the lighter stuff so it always looks nice sitting out.

This is a great replacement for your your Vitamix container. We are using it as a backup. Good quality item. But there is just one problem, the inner smaller lid, used by many to add ingredients as you mix, or to insert the stirring device, does not seal 100%. Spouse filled the blender with soap and water to just blend a bit to remove residue before dishwashing and, even though, he left room for foaming, the foam oozed out beside the smaller inner lid. There is no gasket on that part. So beware of the slight leak that might occur. Overall, a great replacement. Hard plastic and seems like it will hold up well, and a fraction of the cost of the regular Vitamix container. By the way, the original Vitamix rubber lid can not be used on this container, only the lid that comes with this one.

This 64oz replacement container works great with my Vitamix A3500. It fits onto the machine base perfectly and locks into place without any issues. The blades are sharp, the build is sturdy, and it blends my smoothies as well as the original Vitamix pitcher did. So far is seems completely compatible. The container feels to be of the same quality and just as easy (well, sometimes difficult) to clean. Definitely a good value compared to buying your replacement directly from the manufacturer. The real test will be the quality and sharpness of the blades and how they hold up over time. That and other aspects of this replacement pitcher will have to be determined after time and dozens of uses. As of now, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an economical replacement for their original Vitamix brand pitcher.

I got this just wanting a second container so I could occasionally use it for two parts of a single meal, but I'm doubly pleased because it's a shorter, wider container - so now I can store my Vitamix on my counter!! I have the 5200 series mixer, which has always served me well, and this container seems to be made with the same quality and durability of the original part. I haven't experimented enough to know if there are specific uses this design (the blade is slightly different from the one in the original taller container) is better or worse at, but it performed perfectly for my normal 'puree a bunch of ingredients for mushroom soup' and 'chop a bunch of ingredients for salsa' and 'grind up roasted nuts for nut butter' uses. I've gotten away from making smoothies regularly, but now that the whole thing fits on my countertop, maybe I'll get back in the habit! It's just as easy to clean as the original - thank goodness, that's the best thing about the Vitamix line. I'm not sure I would have paid the asking price for an identical replacement for my original container, but the low-profile is actually a huge unexpected perk. I highly recommend this one!
