I got this for my daughter who is very into singing and wants to start a YouTube channel. I have absolutely no experience or skills with this kind of equipment, but it was a good start and is working well for us at our amateur level. Easier to set up and has everything you need to create good sound space. Maybe I'll dabble with a podcast As I always say, durability is a unknown at this point but I will update this review

Very cheaply built. Which might be fine for the price, except the stand doesn’t extend tall enough for me at 5’ 8” and doesn’t collapse besides unscrewing. I expected it to be poor quality but not completely useless.

Why would you specifically say in the description that it’s compatible with a blue yeti? I buy a blue yeti specifically for the use of this and it doesn’t even fit the shock mount, the item was pushed back 2 days shipping and then that so the little things add up, I now have to go out of my way to buy a shock mount that will work which is more time i have to wait to use what I bought 2 weeks ago and more money on top of that. Other then that it’s fine

My Experience: I got this while setting up a small mini studio space at home. I’m currently writing my own scripts and doing voiceovers, so having a portable microphone isolation shield like this is exactly what I needed. It’s going to help make recording smoother and more controlled, especially when reading verses and recording vocals. I haven’t fully set everything up just yet, but this clearly fits the purpose I had in mind. Once my setup is complete, I’ll be sharing photos so you can see how it looks in my space. Key Features: ✔️ Foldable 6-panel isolation shield ✔️ Helps reduce background noise and echo ✔️ Adjustable stand for flexible positioning ✔️ Compatible with Blue Yeti and other microphones ✔️ Easy to move and store for home or studio use Things to Know: This works well for anyone building a home recording setup who wants something compact and practical for voice work. Final Thoughts: This microphone isolation shield feels like a solid addition to a home studio. It’s portable, functional, and well-suited for voiceovers and recording projects. I’m looking forward to using it and will update once my setup is complete. Always Yours Truly, Havanna Cruize: Your Trusted Lighthouse in a Sea of Choices, Reviews, and Quality Recommendations 🗼

UPDATE: Without even contacting them, the company reached out and offered to give me a full refund. When I told them I didn’t need a refund but they could send me the popper stopper, etc., they said they weren’t able to send out individual parts but could give me a partial refund, which they did. I have to be grateful that they responded to this when so many others would have read my initial criticism and gone about their day. I’ll also add that I am using the shield (without the stand, which is too short for me), and it worked just as well as I hoped. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This was obviously a used item. There was a hole in the top of the box, and the advertised to be included tray and 'popper stopper' were not in the box. I am really tired of buying things advertised as new and then receiving used ones that don’t even include all of the components. Also , but less important to me, the stand is very short and is completely unadjustable, making it useless. I would return it, but I already have several popper stoppers, and the six-panel shield, though completely plastic, was essentially what I was looking for. Just order the cheaper set of this without the extras. You probably won't get the other things, anyway.

This isolation shield makes a real difference in reducing room reflections during recording. The foldable design allows you to adjust coverage easily, and the included stand is stable. It works well with common microphones and is easy to set up or break down. Materials feel solid enough for repeated use. A practical upgrade for home studios or voice recording setups.
