I put these lights on our stairs because guests frequently miss our last step and fall in dark. They work perfect! Size is perfect for our stairs. Easy to install. Lightweight and adhesive has not failed and the light sticks to the magnetic bracket well. Took 5 minutes to install if not less. Stay charged for at least two to three weeks that I have tracked. I think I have had them one month and may have charged them all once. So infrequent that I haven’t noticed any inconvenience! They work well on auto setting for motion detection. I was pleasantly surprised by these lights; they’re smaller than I anticipated, but they perform exceptionally well. They are the perfect solution for anyone who wants to avoid the hassle of running wires through cabinets for LED lighting. Although they aren't overly bright, they emit just the right amount of light to illuminate exactly what you need. I’m so impressed that I plan to purchase more of these!     • Easy to install, great option. Just needs some creativity to work around battery life.

I got these to use for kitchen countertop lighting, and also for the inside of my bedroom closets where the lighting is poor & blocked by sliding doors. These work very well for the inside of closets! They mount very easily on magnets w/ a pre-provided set of adhesives on metallic plates where the lights are seated. I didn't know that when I bought them but this was a nice surprise. I was a little worried about getting a power cord to my closets to recharge them, but they just detach from the magnetic plates to be charged, and then the pop right back on. Super simple! Cons: The motion sensors can be a little sensitive. In my case, when the room light is too little (not pitch black but no "main" lights on like in my bedroom closets with no real light in the room, it can be a little tricky to get them to turn on, and they usually at least need a little bit of light into the closet for the motion detectors to pick up any actual motion. And in the case of the kitchen lights, they turn on a little too easily (especially in the corner where the areas being lighted are close enough that light #1 will turn on light #2 and vice-versa) which wears the battery down. Pros: Work very well for on-demand lighting. Very easy to install. Provide a surprisingly great deal of light. They also have a switch to control power settings (off, on, and motion auto-detect). My only real complaint is that even with the auto-detect on, areas where they are frequently turned on (kitchen countertop lighting, in my case) the battery charge lasts about a week. I have 3 lights there so I "rotate" which light is on auto-detect and that works well. All in all I'd recommend but would like to see a longer battery life. ... show more

I recently bought a set of rechargeable under cabinet lights with motion detection, and they’ve completely transformed my kitchen (and a few closets too)! The light bars are surprisingly bright — perfect for food prep or illuminating dark corners. Most models have adjustable brightness levels (usually three modes: low, medium, high), which makes them super versatile. The warm or neutral white glow looks great and feels modern without being too harsh. The motion detection feature is incredibly convenient. It turns on instantly when I walk into the kitchen or open a cabinet, and automatically turns off after about 20 seconds of no movement. I purchased these lights originally for my kitchen, but after I started using them, I found so many other places I could use them for! First, I put 1 in the bathroom and the space between the bedroom and the rest of the house. They were perfect there since the metal vent is right there. I have to say, I got some amusement with those. My little 6 pound dog didn't know what to think with a light going on every time she passed by! I was seriously entertained by this one! Now she's quite used to it, and having the lights there has been helpful for me at 2:00 AM! But wait, there's more! I found a big problem with critters getting into my storage room off my patio. What a mess...I had my son come out and he told me it had been a possum. I studied possum and found out they don't like light. I put 4 of the motion sensor lights all around where they can get in. So far, so good! I have bought these lights 3 times now and still find more uses for them. I put one on my metal front door so that anyone creeping around out there....But I do have to say that they do look nice in my kitchen under my cabinets, as well as being functional. These lights were simple to install; peel the backing of the tape & mount. I mounted these lights under my kitchen cabinets. They light up the area nicely. Not too bright but just enough to light up the intended area. They are extremely motion sensitive. I expected they’d turn on if I reached for something on the counter but they sense motion as I’m approaching. Not even sure how they do this considering the light isn even visible. I have to squat down and look up under the cabinet to see the light because there is a lip under my cabinets. I love them already! UPDATE: I still love these lights however as others have mentioned the battery life leaves much to be desired. Because they are so sensitive to motion and I have pets walking about the house they activate constantly. I am having to charge them daily. I charge them in the morning and by the next morning the battery is already dead. ... show more
