Bought for work. We're not allowed to have our phones out but we can stream music or whatever. It's a decent product. It has facebook and most app that one uses. I use Spotify, Hoopla and Libby mostly. Unless your internet is great you'll want to download the content you want to listen to.

Despite the availability of budget phones in this range, owning this device for just a week has made me feel like I've truly gotten my money's worth. Embodying the essence of Android flagships from the 2010s, the G-Mee distinguishes itself by reintroducing features that have become rare in today's smartphone flagship market. With external storage, a 3.5 mm audio jack, FM radio, and a removable battery, it rekindles the nostalgia of feature-packed smartphones. The inclusion of accessories such as a case and pre-installed tempered glass is thoughtful, and its decent plastic build quality adds reassuring durability. The battery life is commendable, lasting an average of four days, even with moderate use involving extensive Bluetooth audio streaming, file transfers, and occasional video watching. However, some drawbacks do exist. The adoption of micro USB instead of USB-C is outdated, and the placement of the charging ports and headphone jack at the top can be inconvenient, making wire management cumbersome during media consumption. Additionally, the rear placement of the speaker affects sound projection, and I had Bluetooth pairing issues with similar Bluetooth 4.0 devices, potentially linked to software. Looking ahead, here are some suggested improvements for the next release/update: a transition to USB-C, relocating all ports to the bottom for enhanced convenience, repositioning the speaker to the bottom for better audio projection, and introducing charging cradles to facilitate external battery swapping, providing users with more flexibility. Overall, the G-Mee Playy Pro offers a good blend of features and performance for its price, while potential improvements could further elevate its user experience in future iterations.

Power button fell out. took it to repair shop and they tried to repair it it fell out again. 2X repair shop said they could not do any more as button had broken. Tried a different product. Seller refunded price and sent new product. After 3 weeks the same thing happened. Vlume ad power buton fell out not able to replace. This is a defective product and should NOT be sold on Amazon,

I was so so excited for this. My son broke his tablet and I wanted him to have something he could play games on and listen to his music, but would be easier to transport around. It was great for a couple weeks and then I noticed my parental controls weren't conveying over to his player from my phone. I don't know why it would shut the controls off constantly but he was able to by pass it by turning the player off and on again. The screen and charger port both broke within a year too.

Speakers suck. Can barely hear anything out of them so you have to use ear buds. I was wanting the connect pro version for a phone version but they have been out of stock for months. I got this instead. I downloaded Google voice and got a free unlimited number so I can text, call,send,pics, and get voicemails and use like a phone with internet connection. Google voice is amazing I use it for my business been strong for 5 years. I mainly use this for streaming music,videos, and movies. Works as you would expect. CON - does not use C-charger port uses old school port which is an inconvenience. 1st opened it loaded everything slow for a couple hrs now seems fine. Battery life could be better but gets me through a 12 hr work day mostly. Easy to use and understand has less settings to worry about just the necessity. Plain and simple so good for the money.
