This toy was a lot of fun. Flys really well. The 1 year old and 4 year old could both shoot it. Fun when they can’t throw great yet. some part inside the launcher did brake not to long after. Didn't feel the most sturdy from the beginning. The planes are foam (so easy to hot glue back when broken) and have a plastic track peace on the bottom. Would buy again. Lots of fun the kids had.

Works well enough - eventually. Fun for the kids. No instructions. The wings and tailfin have a slight bend at the tips - these should point UPWARD when installed. (Unless you want your airplane to nosedive into the ground.) Our launcher didn't work at first, then somehow kicked in. To operate, pull the slide back (should meet some resistance) until it clicks. Release, and the slide will return to the front. Then place the little clip that's on the front of the airplane into the channel, and slide it plane back. When it stops, pull a little harder, and it will click into place. Point and shoot. Repeat.

It made me smile when my grandson opened this airplane launcher set because he was so happy and excited. The three airplanes were easy to assemble (stickers) but activating the LED lights were tricky and well worth the tiem and patience to get them just right. You do want the lights to work as it adds to the fun and thrill launching the planes. I got a kick out of watching my son and grandson taking turns shooting the planes, making them swrirve and swirl and competing for distance. The set is made well and very durable.
