My biggest regret is knowing my father would never see the urn I would keep him in. He would adore it. I’ve had this for almost 3 years, it’s been with me through 3 moves, and has kept him safe. I saw a few comments about not being able to open it. It opens on the bottom with a single screw, and pulls out from the back end. We bought this to hold our dogs ashes. Overall the quality is very good. Looks nice. The bottom plate fits snugly so there is no concern about the ashes falling out through a crack or seam. This was my first time buying an urn. It was for my dad who just passed away in February. He use to take me out to the woods and seemed to love trees. When I saw this I knew it would be perfect. It’s sort of antique looking with almost a mystical sort of look to it. Very earthy. I love that it was hand done and know he would have too. I was worried about the size, since I honestly don’t know how much cubic feet the ashes are, but it holds my dad very well and he was 6’5”. This whole event has been so difficult and so sudden, but seeing the urn makes me feel better about it. Like I gave him a good place to rest in something I think he really would have liked. Also the customer service has been great. They responded quickly when an issue with delivery took place (pandemic and all) and were very willing to help any way they could. They were compassionate and kind and I greatly appreciated that. The urns are beautiful, and after searching the web for an urn to hold an adult it’s actually a decent price. Especially since it’s hand done. I’m very pleased with the urn. Not so much pleased with why I got it though lol. ... show more
