VERY SHARP, VERY CHEAPLY MADE

I’m returning this item for a refund. It took 2 hrs to screw together. My chicken was able to unscrew one side of the egg lid. You would think that a product MADE for chickens would be able to handle chickens. I’ve only had this for 4 (!!) days. Lol Ridiculous. So now I have to worry about my chickens finding screws & nuts. And without the egg cover being secure, the chickens’ feet can get cut. All galvanized metal is EXTREMELY SHARP & exposed. Be careful and be very careful with children. Also, it has panels that are screwed to the back so the hay stays in the box, but the holes were drilled incorrectly, and I wasn’t able to secure it. This product is a scam.

Little hard to work with

Does not seem to last

This was a bit more difficult to put together than I expected. Took a couple of hours and a complete take down and start over. In the roll away compartment the screws are very hard to insert, due to placement and size of area. I bought this mid january. I was pretty happy with it. I noticed beginning of March that the lid for the bottom nest box roll away compartment was bending when I opened it, at the area it attaches to the boxes on the ends. Mid March the screws holding the lid in place have worked their way out. Found this when a hen was found hanging upside down with her leg stuck between the lid and tray. I assumed my fault, reinserted the screws. Again screws came out within a week. Noticed the top row lid had also lost the screws/bolts. The hens have never laid in the top bins, I rarely lift the lid. The bolts/screws do not stay in. I now have the lid bungeed in place. Will have to do the same for the top. Due to work schedule I gather eggs about 3-4 times a week. I like the overall product, just wish it stayed together.

Pay attention when assembling
