So easy and fun to make waffles. The only thing I don't prefer is I wish the plates were removable to wash. But the waffles come out thick and perfect. You can adjust for the cooking temp.

Flip Waffle Maker Test — Fast, Even Cooking & Actually Worth It?

I wasn’t sure if the flip feature actually mattered - but after using it, it absolutely does. I’ve used a few waffle makers over the years, and this one is easily one of the most convenient and consistent I’ve tried. I tested it making multiple waffles back-to-back, and it handled everything really well. The biggest standout is how evenly it cooks. Because it flips, the batter distributes evenly across both plates, so you don’t get raw centers or overcooked edges. Each waffle came out crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, exactly what you want. It’s also fast — once preheated, each waffle cooked in under 3 minutes. I was able to make breakfast for my family of four in about 15 minutes total without any issues. ✅ What works well: -Adjustable browning control (light → dark) -Even cooking from the flip design Fast cook time (under 3 minutes per waffle) -Indicator lights for power, preheat, and doneness -Removable drip tray catches overflow (very helpful) -Can be stored vertically to save space -Works with: Homemade batter Box mixes Just-add-water mixes 🧪 Real-life use: I used about 1 cup of batter per waffle, flipped immediately after locking, and let it cook until the ready light came back on. Each waffle released cleanly with a light spray of oil and didn’t stick. You only need to preheat once, so making multiple waffles in a row is quick and easy. ⚠️ What to know: -The plates are NOT removable, so cleaning has to be done by wiping them down (best while still warm, not hot) -Oil and add-ins (like chocolate chips or berries) can build up if not cleaned after each use ⭐️Tips: -You cannot open the waffle maker while it’s flipped (safety feature) -If you want a darker waffle, just close the lid again and let it cook longer Bottom line: This is a fast, easy-to-use waffle maker that delivers consistent results. The flip design actually makes a difference, and the cooking speed makes it great for fast breakfast option.

DANGEROUS BEWARE SAFETY RISK!

I had to change this rating from 5 stars to 1. Why? This is a flawed design that possesses a significant danger to the user and those around it. It worked well for a few months, cooks as it should, love the flip mechanism, however, here is where the danger exists. Several design flaws. It doesn’t lock in the open position and allows it to flip over onto its side. This action shattered one of plates, but real issue is had a child been there, they could have been burned severely. As an adult, I barely escaped getting burned. To add additional problems to their design, the handle folds towards the direction it wants to fall over towards. (Facing it, it falls to the right). Initially I gave this 5 stars as it was a great machine to create waffles. But potential burn hazards while trying to pour batter in, or during removal of the waffle is too great a risk to bodily injury! Perhaps this one is a defective unit, but it never locked, and now refuses to remain open without falling over rendering it useless and dangerous.
