This waffle maker worked well overall. The waffle batter did not stick to the griddle, which made cooking and cleanup easy. The drip tray was a nice size and did a great job catching any overflow, helping keep the counter clean. My only concern is the plastic base. It feels somewhat cheap, and if you're not careful when handling or storing it, it seems like it could break. I wasn’t sure if the flip feature actually mattered - but after using it, it absolutely does. I’ve used a few waffle makers over the years, and this one is easily one of the most convenient and consistent I’ve tried. I tested it making multiple waffles back-to-back, and it handled everything really well. The biggest standout is how evenly it cooks. Because it flips, the batter distributes evenly across both plates, so you don’t get raw centers or overcooked edges. Each waffle came out crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, exactly what you want. It’s also fast — once preheated, each waffle cooked in under 3 minutes. I was able to make breakfast for my family of four in about 15 minutes total without any issues. ✅ What works well: -Adjustable browning control (light → dark) -Even cooking from the flip design Fast cook time (under 3 minutes per waffle) -Indicator lights for power, preheat, and doneness -Removable drip tray catches overflow (very helpful) -Can be stored vertically to save space -Works with: Homemade batter Box mixes Just-add-water mixes 🧪 Real-life use: I used about 1 cup of batter per waffle, flipped immediately after locking, and let it cook until the ready light came back on. Each waffle released cleanly with a light spray of oil and didn’t stick. I got this as a gift. Was worried, as I bought a Bella toaster, which was defective. But I LOVE this waffle maker! (And so does every one I share with). It’s easy to prepare, use, clean, and store in my camper. I tried the basic recipe, included. It was good! But at over a mile altitude, I have a “go to” recipe. Just add stuff. Heats and cooks batter efficiently, how the pan no longer locks into place, it spins around even when lifting the lid to remove waffle or pouring the batter you have to hold it upright. Cheap design flaw.
