This is a comprehensive front end service kit, it comes with most if not all the separation tools needed to service most front ends on cars and light trucks. The tools are decent quality, about what you would rent from the auto parts store. Except if you get this kit, you get to keep them for future use. I don’t know if I would use it in a professional environment, but it would definitely work great for your average DIYer. I like that it comes with a case to store everything in, as that keeps everything together and ready for the next job. I will no longer be using a fork to force front end connections apart, ripping boots in the process.

One of the biggest disappointments with tools in this price range is they have low quality machining. But this set the edges of all the pullers are nicely machined with clean sharp 90° edges. This helps tremendously on grabbing onto bearings and pulleys when trying to remove them.

This 5-piece front end service kit contains a pretty good variety of pullers/separators. Each piece feels pretty solid and should support many different tasks, and I hope they'll last for years. The blow mold case that holds each piece isn't the most robust, but it's better than many from other Amazon orders I've received in the past and gets the job done. This kit would be an asset for any home mechanic who wants to save money DIYing car repairs.

I needed to replace upper and lower ball joints on my 03 envoy 4x4 and the actual ball joint remover press wasn't working well so I figured we'd give this set a try. The claw worked like a charm and made removing the upper ball joint so easy! We were both impressed with. It was way smaller compared to the press so made gettingnit where it needed to be so much simpler. We didn't even attempt to use the press on the other side once we knew how easy this set made it for us. I recommend for the once in a while car owner who works on their own stuff, but don't feel that it would hold up for an everyday mechanic that would need to use it many times a week. Overall, I am pleased and happy to have it. Great value for the variety you get.

The tools are well packaged, well oiled with part list. Everything is good. The tools are really heavy duty. They weigh a ton in my hands. They feel stronger than similar tools I rented in the past from auto part stores. I am very happy with the tools. The sticker on the box was put up side down initially. I peeled it off and put it on correctly. Now everything is perfect.

These ball joint tools are not often needed here on the farm, but when they are it means an interruption and trip to the parts store to rent them. I was happy for the opportunity to try these. They're heavy made and the different sizes will make them useful for many different applications. The castings are a little rough, but all the threaded parts operate smoothly.

Comes nicely packaged in blow case. Took them out and they feel very sturdy and well built. Screws are nice and smooth and should work out nicely. This is a great kit for anyone to have in there tool box for the money will save a lot of time and heartache just having them around.
