OK, it's a power strip. It has an on/off button, a power light, 6 x 15 amp outlets and built in surge protection (which I haven't tested). It works and doesn't look bad. The issue I have is the mounting holes on the back. They are upside down. If you hang it horizontally from those holes, the grounding prongs on the outlets will be up which is workable but not what most people like, and the wording on the power switch (Reset / OFF) will be upside down. The mounting holes don't allow a secure mount if you want the strip mounted vertically. I'm leaving mine flat on the counter so mounting holes don't matter to me anyway, but they might to you.

Great quality extension cord. Well-sealed and the flat wall plug is really appreciated. My first test was 2 table lamps, and fan and a vacuum. Held up with all 4 on and running. Good product.

I love this surge protector. It is pretty sleek and slim. It fits in a lot of little spaces that a big bulky one wouldnt. I also feel the white is way more white than anyone would expect it to be because compared to new ones from the store, It's like comparing the sun to a flashlight.

This is a fairly compact power strip with sturdy construction. The flat power cord is flexible and does not fight you for placement. it also has a flat, right-angled plug which can be desirable for some. Probably the best feature is that it comes with the ETL certification mark- which assuming it's valid should provide some extra assurance that this cheap power strip is safe to use. The description in the product listing also mentions that "other major components certified by UL". Not sure what other "major' components that might refer to (it's a pretty simple device, without a lot of componentry) and why the UL mark appears nowhere on the device. 1680J protection is a decent level, especially at this price.

Sometimes, it's the little changes in design that really make you rave about a product. Welcome to my rave for this extension cord. The plug is significantly thinner than standard extension cords and it's flat - which means that you can put your furniture up against the wall and NOT have some weird sturdiness issues or gaps like you do with standard ones. I've always been super irked by these issues and was so excited to find this extension cord. There is a high probability I'm going to be going around and swapping out all of my indoor cords for this style!
