Assembly took me a bit over an hour working alone, which felt reasonable given the number of parts, and the instructions were clear enough that I never had to guess or backtrack. The quality is genuinely good once it’s together, the engineered wood panels have a clean finish with no rough spots or chips, the edges are properly rounded and smoothly sanded, and the whole thing feels solid rather than the wobbly assemble-it-yourself furniture I’ve owned before. The three position design is what makes it worth owning in a smaller space, folded down it tucks against the wall as a narrow console, half open it seats two for a weeknight dinner, and fully extended it handles a proper meal with company, and switching between them takes seconds rather than being a production. The storage underneath is the feature I didn’t expect to use as much as I do, the small upper cabinets hold napkins, coasters and the odds and ends that used to clutter a drawer across the room, and the lower compartment swallows folding chairs so they’re not living in a closet somewhere. The wheels roll smoothly enough to reposition the whole thing one handed, and the two locking casters keep it planted while you eat, no drifting across the floor. The top wipes clean easily and the seam when fully extended is tight enough that crumbs don’t disappear into it. Honest notes, budget the full hour or more and clear some floor space for assembly. Chairs are not included despite the storage being sized for them. And engineered wood means treating it kindly with coasters and no standing on it. For flexible dining and real storage in a tight space, this has been excellent and I’d recommend it. ... show more

This table is such a smart option for a smaller dining area or any room where you need flexibility. I love that it can be completely opened for dining, opened on only one side for a smaller workspace, or folded down when I want to free up floor space. When fully extended, the racetrack shape and warm wood finish give it a much more polished and upscale appearance than I expected from a folding table. The built-in storage is one of its best features. The two small cabinets are useful for keeping napkins, placemats and other dining essentials close by, while the open lower section provides additional storage without making the table look overly bulky. The wheels roll smoothly, which makes repositioning the table much easier, and the locking wheels help keep it securely in place while it is being used. Once assembled, it feels sturdy and substantial, and the rounded edges are a thoughtful touch. The tabletop sections line up nicely when opened, and the surface is easy to wipe clean. This folding table is so much better than I imagined. First of all, the craftsmanship is excellent: the surface is smooth, there’s no unpleasant odour, and the edges are all rounded, so there’s no need to worry about children bumping into them at home. The folding design is incredibly convenient—one person can easily unfold or fold it away. When in use, simply spread the table legs apart; it’s very stable and doesn’t wobble at all, whether you’re eating or writing. I’m also very reassured by its load-bearing capacity; it holds a table lamp, a few books and my tablet with no trouble at all. The design is simple and elegant, and the walnut-coloured wood grain looks very clean; it blends in perfectly in either the living room or the bedroom. All in all, it’s excellent value for money to get such a high-quality folding table at this price point. This first of all is heavy when it arrives. It assembles pretty easy but take your time. This is an absolutely ideal table for someone that needs to save space. If you have a studio apartment or just a small kitchen, this is absolutely perfect. The table itself is sturdy, the chairs are a bit on the small side but good for averaged sized people.
