This chainsaw is incredibly powerful and shockingly easy to start. Just pull the cord slower and more steadily than you would with other saws—there’s an extra spring inside that builds tension and assists in turning the crankshaft. Whoever came up with that design is an absolute genius! I can even start it while standing on a ladder or up in a tree, no problem at all. When it fires up, it sounds just like a high-performance dirt bike—total muscle. This isn’t some basic, run-of-the-mill saw you’d find at Sears back in the day, that’s for sure. The whole design is well thought out, and the air filter, spark plug, and primer bulb are all super easy to reach for maintenance.
