How to Start a Cold Engine: 1.Push the chain brake fully forward 2.Move the On/Off switch to the On position 3.PulI the choke knob fully out 4.Pull the start handle (Max 6 times) 5.Push the choke knob back fully 6.Pull the starter until the engine starts Install saw chain around the sprocket and guide bar, with cutters on top of the guide bar facing forward. Q: Can this gas chainsaw cut ice blocks? A: This chainsaw is designed for cutting wood, not ice. Cutting ice may damage the chain and pose safety risks. We do not recommend using it for ice.
