I was genuinely excited to get this inverter and turn my Milwaukee M18 batteries into a portable power station—but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. First off, I’m not even sure if this seller is the original manufacturer. There are multiple listings on Amazon with what appears to be the exact same unit, just rebranded. That already made me a bit skeptical, and after using it, I can see why. The biggest issue is the battery compatibility and design. I specifically wanted to run dual Forge batteries (like 12Ah or 8Ah), and it simply doesn’t work. The frustrating part is that it’s so close to working—it honestly feels like if they had spent an extra 10–15 minutes refining the spacing and slot positioning, it could have supported larger batteries without issue. Even trying to compromise didn’t help: - It won’t fit 2x Forge batteries (12Ah or 8Ah) - It won’t even fit 2x 8Ah Forge batteries For the price, that’s a huge letdown. On top of that: - The weight distribution feels off - The unit is noticeably loud during operation - Overall build feels like it missed some basic real-world testing At this price point, I expected a lot more flexibility and refinement. Right now, I’m honestly debating returning it. If they offered a full refund, I might keep it for light or occasional use—but as it stands, it’s hard to justify the cost.
