Ordered two of these packs to put in a large closet for playing wind instruments. They work well for deadening sound and look good too. You do need to be aware of three things. First, putting all those little adhesive dots up is very tedious. Second, your panels may need to be fluffed, I used a curtain steamer and it was a breeze. Third, if you're putting them on the ceiling, you'll want to press extra hard and long on the adhesive dots under the foam to get them to really stick together. If you're comfortable with all this, it's a cheap way to improve sound quality in your practice room. ... show more

    • Missing items - no adhesive at all & missing some panels

I had to spend ~$25 extra on 3 separate brands of adhesives to keep these sound panels up. None of them, and no matter how much I use, hold these panels up. I’m not sure if the adhesives they were supposed to provide are special for this product, but since I never received them installation is incredibly difficult because they don’t stay up more than a few hours. I could deal with constantly putting the panels back up if they actually helped with sound absorption; however, they do not. I am very disappointed with this purchase, because it is horrible value for your money—it doesn’t work AND a good portion of the item was missing (no adhesive dots provided, missing panels). One star for color and appearance of the panels I did receive looking like the description. ... show more

Honestly, for around $50, this was a steal. My room was super echoey and it made my mic sound like I was in a bathroom. After putting these up, the sound is way 'drier' and more professional. They come vacuum-sealed and look like flat pancakes at first, but easy fix. I just soaked them in a tub for a few minutes, wrung them out, and let them air dry for a day, they popped right into shape. ... show more

Used for one wall and bought a diff pack for the purple, but these were decent as far as helping with sound and a good price, but a bit flimsy if you don't do one section of wall at a time - don't do the whole wall at once.

I love living life in middle America but some things do skip us out in the sticks, including adequate health care facilities. If you’re pregnant good luck finding a proper clinic! Thankfully that’s where I come in. My husband and I run a goat farm producing chèvre and chocolate goat’s milk (dont knock it till you try it) and supplement our income with a home birth side hustle. No, we are not midwives or doulas, but after raising hundreds of goats over the last 20 years I do know a thing or to about delivering little ones. One thing I know for sure? Birthing is a loud business. These foam panels have helped us reclaim precious sleep that would otherwise be lost to particularly arduous labors in our “birthing basement”. My husband thought a few large rugs tossed on the concrete floor would be enough and I just smiled and shook my head before ACTUALLY helping to lower the volume by ordering this wonderful product. Panels are ok (about 1" at their thickest point). The stick on tabs don't seem to hold very well. Have had many panels fall off wall. Sound is helped with panels but a better way to adhere them to any surface (without damage to the surface) is needed.

Each box is different quality and size. I ordered four boxes, two of the boxes were completely different from the other two, As far as shape and length and size. So if you’re trying to go for a clean look, it’s literally impossible. Two boxes were good, two boxes were bad. If you open a box and cut the vacuum seal bag and they expand fast, you got a good box. If they have remained squished and look bad, you got a bad box. With the bad boxes, even if you give them days to expand and get them wet as they recommend, they are still cut too short and don’t match the thickness and length of the good boxes. My vocal booth should’ve taken like four hours and it’s taking almost 2 days because I have to cut these and match them and stretch them and it still doesn’t look as clean as it should have, if they were all just the same size ... show more
