You can turn on the fan with an ordinary on-off switch. But please don't connect to a fan control switch or a dimmer switch. How do you re-pair the remote to the fan? 1. Reset: Use the wall switch or other switch to turn off the fan's power for about 5 seconds and then reconnect. 2. Re-pair: Hit the pair button(''FAN/OFF'') in the middle of the remote. 3. Try to use the remote again How to contact the seller if we need help or replacement parts? Please contact the seller for help through the methods provided in the manual. Can the fan be worked with ac 120 power supply? Sure it can be worked with AC power supply 110-220V! But please note this fan can only be used with the receiver and remote control, and can only be connected directly to your home circuit, not connected to a dimmer switch. Versus the other cheap low-profile ceiling fans available that I have tried: - Metal everywhere (except the blades and the light cover of course) - It looks good, not cheap. - Fan is extremely quiet; you hear the blades whipping through the air at high speeds, that's it. Zero wobble, even at max fan speed. - If you use a wall switch to turn it on and off, it remembers both the light and fan settings, so it comes back on however you had it set when you flipped the switch off. This is huge for me, the wall switch is my primary control. - Moves plenty of air, and the longer blades fill the room with moving air (in a roughly 12ft x 12ft room, at the lowest fan speed, I can easily feel the air movement, at higher speeds there is just more) - The light is average output at maximum, I'd guess 800-1000 lumens. You can dim it several levels, minimum is maybe 20% of max. - The light colors are fine, nothing special. You have 3 choices (not several settings to tweak), yellow, white and blue-ish. White if fine with me, I don't like the other colors. - The remote does everything I want it to. There is a fan timer (which I don't care about), and there is no option for "wind" i.e. semi-random, changing fan speed (which I also don't care about). Minor Nitpicks: - I'd be happy if maximum light output were higher, for the rare occasions I really need to light up the room; I basically leave it set at max output. - The layout of the light control buttons on the remote, particularly for dimming and brightening, is just kind of weird. Not so important since I don't really change the light, I just want it on or off. - It would be nice if it were a little lower profile, the blades are about 7in below the ceiling and the light cover reaches about 9in below the ceiling. This is about the lowest profile I could find with good sized blades. - It beeps when you touch a light setting button on the remote, with no consistent/complete way to turn off the beeps. There is a mute/unmute button on the remote, but it only seems to work since the last time you flipped the wall switch on; if you flip the wall switch off and come back a few minutes later and flip it on, it will beep again when you hit a remote button. If I changed the light settings often, while also using a wall switch, this would annoy me. - In addition, it beeps every time you turn the wall switch on, no matter what. This annoys me a little, but I can live with it. Seriously, who decided it needed to beep?? ... show more

After comparing MANY fans and reading hundreds of reviews, I purchased 2 of these fans to replace my old fans. I believe I made a great choice. They look wonderful, run quietly, and the lights are bright. The remote is great and very easy to operate. I haven’t paired the two remotes yet but I read up on it and it looks easy enough. If they continue to operate as they have been in the 2-3 weeks that I have been using them, I will declare that I made a great purchase. If any problems develop, I will be revising my review. Also, even though I read in reviews that installation was easy, I hired an electrician b/c one of the old ceiling fan light was not working and I was concerned that if there was electrical issues, I would not know how to deal with them. Also, I was very happy to see that the remotes have a cradle to secure them to the wall. They come with screws and anchors to fasten them to the wall but instead of drilling more holes in my walls, I use 2- sided tape to hang them on the wall. The remotes are very light weight and I have not had any issues with using 2-sided tape. ... show more

The fan itself is well built and the motor is very quiet. That’s the only reason this isn’t a good review. The main issue is that the fan resets every time you turn the wall switch off. When power is restored, the light defaults back to bright white regardless of the previous setting. This forces you to leave the wall switch on at all times and rely entirely on the remote to control the light. In a dark room, finding the small button on the remote is inconvenient. Another problem is that a single remote controls multiple fans if they are within range. Turning on the light or changing settings in one room also changes the fan in the adjacent room, even through a wall. I attempted to re-pair each remote to its respective fan and also tried the app, but the issue persists. Because of the forced remote-only operation, the light reset behavior, and the lack of proper remote isolation between units, I cannot recommend this fan. ... show more

Ive replaced a dozen fans in my life with low cost ones. This one looks pretty great, i like how close to the roof it is and the power is great. The remote works well from just about anywhere and while the smart phone app is very badly designed for the pairing process is a little silly, it does work. The install is medium difficulty compared to other fans in the same class. Definitely within the realm of any DIY-er who's comfortable switching off the breaker. But, more badly implemented than others. Theres a LOT more parts to go together on this than most, although the integrated metal wire for hanging is a nice addition. But putting the fan blades on the right direction is a little more tedious than others. Quickest way is just to do almost the entire process on your couch before even removing the old fan, then its pretty quick. Other than the quirky app and the install - its a great fan. ... show more

I was wary about the low price but after 4 days of constant use and playing with the options I am very pleased with the fan. Installation was easy (I was replacing an old fan so there was already a box/power ready). It's much sleeker/slimmer than the old fan. I wasn't able to use the light attachment on the old one so it's nice to have that feature now. I appreciate the 3 different color options / dimming and that it stays at your last selected option when turning off/back on. The fan is quiet and has not rattled or seemed shaky so far. There are 6 speed options which is awesome, however it's hard to distinguish between the speeds ("1" and "2" seem exactly the same to me). My old fan had a "extra low" setting where the blades spun very slowly which was nice, it barely made a breeze while keeping the air moving. The "1" (lowest) setting on this new fan is still pretty quick but not a big deal. I'd purchase again! ... show more
