  • Money well spent.
Style: 48V 105Ah
I bought this a couple of months ago to replace the lead acid batteries in my 48v EZGO TXT. The reviews I read were helpful and overall I really like this product. It was expensive but so are the regular batteries. For a little more money you can go first class, and this is a great upgrade that’s well worth the price. The Good: The extra power is amazing. I got 10 more mph out of my cart. I’m not sure if it’s the power itself or because I dropped a lot of weight, but woah. It also looks well-built and comes in a nice package. The install was easy enough and done in a couple of hours with the help of a couple of YouTube videos. The supplied charger works fast and the lcd display is a nice feature. The app is also really good as a display. What you read about the consistent performance is absolutely true. You have the same power at 10% as you do at a full charge. That alone is a good perk. The Not So Good: While it lasts way longer on a charge than what I was running before, I’m only averaging about 35 miles with a full charge. Some of the reviews I read said they averaged 50+ miles with theirs. I didn’t but it’s not really a complaint. 35 is still better than what I was working with. The Bad: I did have to upgrade a few additional things on my cart due to the additional power that this battery provides. I replaced the solenoid and some older wiring that was original. I’m likely going to replace the battery cables to the motor with a larger gauge because of heat. Reading up it sounds like these are common issues that are likely to occur so don’t be surprised if you have to do something similar. Overall I wish I would’ve tried this sooner. I feel like it was money well spent and look forward to less maintenance. If you’re on the fence I promise you won’t be disappointed or regret this one. ... show more

  • Vatrer battery in a 2019 48 volt club car Vatrer battery in a 2019 48 volt club car
Style: 48V 105Ah
So it’s only been about a week since installing vatrer 51.2 volt 105 ah lithium battery. Previously I had 6 8 volt lead acid batteries and on cell on one battery had gone bad (bubbled and smoked and smelled like rotten eggs). So after a few days of research I decided to give Vatrer batteries a shot. Pros: much lighter (saved about 270 lbs) Cart is faster (not sure if it’s just due to loss of weight or the cart had more power but it’s definitely noticeable.) Saved room to add a cooler No more adding water No corrosion More accurate battery meter (no more guessing when I need to charge) Looks way better Easy to make it a true on board charger. (Plug in anywhere with extension cord) Longer range No maintenance 5 year warranty 5000 + charge cycles Cons: price is more than your lead acid (however if you break it down it’s not that bad. Costco 8 volts would run about $800 with a life span of 4-5 years, Trojans $1500, but both you would still be heavy and have to add water every 2 weeks to maintain the battery.) so really the extra cost is worth it to me. I understand why people say costumer service is difficult since they seem to be on a different time zone but Brandon was very responsive if you are up late or just wait til the following morning. He answered every question I had. LCD screen can be a little better. Power button is a little hard to push and mounting bracket can be a little more versitle (but I was able to make it work) In structures can have a little more info like when you should charge it and but after speaking with Brandon he told me anytime I wanted to but try not to run it under 15%. He said anywhere between 15-20% would be good. Also to fully charge it before first use. Battery came with 50% charge. Overall we are very pleased with the produce so far. I can’t wait to see how it holds up in the long run. At 5000+ charge cycles it could last 13 years and that would be huge but even if it did half that I’d be happy. $2000 for an 8 year battery is not bad. Keeping my fingers crossed and will update review in a few month. Thank you Vatrer and Brandon. ... show more

  • Amazing build quality, customer support and performance! Amazing build quality, customer support and performance!
Style: 48V 105Ah
I'm glad I trusted the positive reviews, because this battery is awesome! I watched a teardown of the battery by a popular electronics youtuber, and he had nothing but great things to say about the build quality, robustness of the internals, cell brand/quality - very impressive. It is only slightly more expensive than competitors, but MUCH better quality and totally worth it, especially considering Vatrer support. I had a small issue with my order and they were prompt to reply and resolved my issue immediately. Regarding my personal experience with the battery, for my golf cart, I really love the screen and the Bluetooth for the app. The battery is easy to use and works great. Such a huge upgrade from my lead acid batteries - I'll get WAY more charge cycles, making the value immensely higher, and this battery is so much lighter. It's about half the wight of my old batteries and so much easier to manage being in one case with built-in handles. If you're on the fence about it, I would suggest you buy it. You'll be glad you did! ... show more

  • Intuitive installation, helpful app, great customer service Intuitive installation, helpful app, great customer service
Style: 48V 105Ah
Excellent battery from VATRER. So far it has exceeded expectations. The cart, due to the power and nature of lithium batteries, sustains the power up hills, and it seems to be going much faster than before. Of course, compared to the old lead-acid batteries I removed, it may just seem that way. Installation was intuitive and rapid, thanks to the assistance and experience of my son who previously installed one of these in his cart. We're both very pleased! We also like the app! I needed a couple of issues resolved, and contacted VATRER's customer service via Amazon. They were quickly responsive, friendly, knowledgeable, and solved my problems. Good service after the sale! ... show more

  • EZGO TXT 48 EZGO TXT 48
Style: 48V 105Ah
After doing alot of online research and study I decided to purchase the 51.2V 105Ah Lithium Golf Cart Battery on May 22 2024, I received the battery May 28th. I bought a used 2015 EZGO TXT 48 golf cart a few years ago which had the original 6 Trojan 8 volt lead-acid batteries. Although I asked about the battery life the seller advised me that the batteries should last many more years based on his previous experience. Well they lasted for a couple years and then the cart had slowed down on hill climbs and became unreliable for jetting around my 5 acre lot. I had no experience working on golf carts but after researching replacement batteries I decided to go with a lithium battery upgrade… the online reviews and videos were convincing that I’d have more power and working battery lifetime. Rather than installing several lithium batteries I decided to get a single large 1. I was able to do the conversion myself, I’m retired so I had the time and from the videos I’d watched it seemed doable. The battery package I received had the essential parts to electrically hook up the battery but did not come with any mounting plates to convert the TXT 48 battery tray to hold the new much larger battery. I removed the 6 old batteries and cleaned up the battery trays. After studying the problem I decided on a unique solution. First I cut the 2 battery hold-down ears off the existing frame to make it all one level and then drilled and bolted on 4 Simpsons Strong Tie angle braces to the 1st rectangular section of the frame… 1 on each end of the frame and 2 along the sides. Now I had 4 level tabs of surface to sit the battery on. This was the perfect length to be able to bolt the battery down on both ends where the battery was designed to be attached. I drilled holes in the strong tie metal angle irons and bolted the battery down with 3 bolts at each end. After cutting and adding a connector to the orange wire from the old charger plug and mounting the battery charger in an open area near the battery I attached the cables as shown in the diagram that came with the battery. I mounted the battery monitor screen on the dash. After fully charging the battery I turned everything on and the cart worked ! I’ve taken it on several test drives and it climbs hills very fast and seems quite powerful ,I am impressed with this battery. I hope this lasts for many years. I think I made very good decision. I dont have data yet on how long it will last so I couldn't rate that feature yet.. ... show more

  • By far the best thing I ever did for my golf cart. By far the best thing I ever did for my golf cart.
Style: 48V 105Ah
If you have some basic mechanical/electrical knowledge this is a pretty straight forward install. I made the switch from 48v in a 2016 club car precedent in less than half a day. Battery life on this is ridiculous, where I was having to charge after my daily cruise now I can go 3- day without charging or loss of performance. My overall speed went up 5 mph and is consistent throughout life of battery where the lead acid declined as percent went down. The display quality is easy to read. I really only use the Bluetooth connectivity to compare numbers with what's on display but it was easy to set up. ... show more
