I received this nail oil set, and while the scents are lovely and reminiscent of natural smells, I'm a bit mixed about the overall value. For $27.99, I would expect more than three small tubes of oil. The price point seems steep, especially considering the size of the tubes. I mean that is crazy expensive for what you get! One thing that's got me a bit concerned is the organic material in the pens. I'm not entirely sure how clean it is, and I worry that over time, it might not hold up well. Additionally, as I use more of the oil, I'm finding it tricky to get the last bits out due to the organic material getting in the way. Despite these concerns, the oils do smell great, and they might be good for cuticle care. However, I'm left questioning whether I'm comfortable putting it on my skin, given the potential issues with the organic material.

I'm a little weird about scents, especially ones that are artificial. I'm the person who walks into an office when someone took a bath in their cologne that morning, and is likely to be annoyed because it hurts my nose and, if I'm truthful, can lead to headaches. These pens smell great. They smell just enough to be pleasant without being overpowering, and it's really easy to go overboard with scents like real lavender. The lavender scent smells just like the essential oils that I normally keep on hand that are made from actual lavender. It's not flowery or overpowering, and as a nice touch, there is lavender floating in the oil in the pen. The Jasmine is also very nice, a little more of a powdery scent, but Jasmine tends to be that way. Again, a pleasant scent without being overpowering, and it has a jasmine bud floating in the oil. The rose is more like a fresh rose scent, and is a little sharper than some breeds of Rose you may be familiar with. That said, I still like it. It's not super strong, it's bright and flowery as it should be, instead of a heavy dark scent like an old lady's perfume. This pen also has something floating in the oil, in this case it's a rose petal. The pens themselves are easy to use, although I would caution that you don't get impatient. It takes a little bit of time for them to prime and oil to come out, and if you get impatient easily you might turn it a little too fast after doing it for a while. Don't, stay about a medium speed and you'll get there, and once they're primed you won't have to go through that again. Once I did get my pens primed the brush works great. Great! The cap keeps everything nice and clean in between uses and I'm very happy with the functionality of these so far. I tested all three of these on my cuticles, and the skin of my hand. I didn't have any issues with it bothering my skin at all, and although coconut oil can take some time to soak in, these seem to do the job quite well. Overall, I'm really thrilled with these pens. All the sense in this set are super pleasant, not overpowering, and the pens themselves function very well. This design has performed very well for me so far, and I'm hoping that the coconut oil they contain as part of their formula will help moisturize my cuticles and the surrounding skin. It's coming into winter, and everything starting to dry out, including my cuticles and the surrounding skin, so it's the perfect time to try and get ahead of it with these.

This cuticle oil set is one of those tiny self care upgrades that makes your hands look like you actually have your life together. First of all, the pen format is everything. No messy bottles, no weird dropper, no leaking oil in your bag, no “I’ll do it later.” You just click, swipe, and suddenly your cuticles look healthy and intentional instead of dry and forgotten. The oils themselves feel nourishing without being greasy. My nails feel stronger, my cuticles look smoother, and I don’t immediately need to wipe my hands on my pants after using it. The oil sinks in, smells good and after using it for a few weeks feel like it’s made a drastic difference in my cuticles appearance. I love the real flower petals inside! I chose the lavender, jasmine, and rose. It’s a beautiful aesthetic but also a great way at a quick glance to know which scent you’re using. Each of the scents is soft and calming, not overpowering or perfumey, which makes using it feel more like a little ritual than a chore. I love that it comes as a trio, because I keep one by my bed, one in my purse, and one on my desk at work. These would also be a great gift and is such a perfect “I saw this and thought of you” gift , especially for someone who loves nails, skincare, or just quiet, aesthetic self care moments. If your cuticles are dry, your nails are struggling, or you just want something small that makes you feel put together, this set is such an easy yes. Pretty, practical, and one of those things you’ll reach for way more than you expect.
