I put these 50ft LED outdoor string lights up on the new metal deck I built, and that felt like the moment the project finally stopped looking like steel and screws and started looking like a place where humans could relax. Until then, the deck had the personality of a determined forklift. Once the lights went up, it turned into an actual outdoor space. Installation was easier than I expected. The 50-foot length gave me enough coverage to run them across the deck without the whole setup feeling cramped or awkward. The strand was flexible enough to work with, and the hanging process was pretty straightforward. I have dealt with string lights before that acted like they were trained by snakes, twisting themselves into a philosophy problem. These were much more manageable. The Edison-style ST38 bulbs look great. They give off that warm, classic patio light that feels nicer than the harsher look of some cheaper outdoor LED sets. They have a decorative style, but they still put out enough light to make the deck useful at night. That balance matters. I wanted something that looked good without turning the space into either a dim cave or a parking lot. The remote control is a nice feature, especially once the lights are already mounted. It is much better than climbing around to unplug or adjust things manually. The Bluetooth function also adds convenience. It makes the setup feel a little more modern than the usual basic string lights, and I liked having another way to control them without fuss. Those extra features help this set stand out from simpler outdoor light strands that only offer on and off. The waterproof design is another big plus. Since these are meant for outdoor use on patios, decks, porches, or backyards, that matters a lot. I wanted something that could stay outside without me treating every cloud like a personal threat. So far, they seem well suited for outdoor conditions, which gives me more confidence than some lightweight decorative sets I have used in the past. Performance has been solid overall. The bulbs look consistent, the light is pleasant, and the whole setup adds a lot to the space. Compared to cheaper string lights, these feel more polished because you get the classic bulb style along with remote and Bluetooth control. I picked up these Skoiuc 50 ft outdoor string lights to add some ambiance to our back patio, and they ended up being one of those small upgrades that make the whole space feel more inviting. These weatherproof Skoiuc LED lights are great. The bulbs are made of plastic, so there is no danger of shattering. The lead cord that plugs into the socket is extra long so that you have enough clearance when hanging lights high above the socket. The included remote makes working the lights a breeze. They operate on several different modes and degrees of brightness. These lights really lit up our dock and we couldn’t be happier.

I found these lights to be outstanding, they look great, they put out a lot of light in an even way that minimizes shadows, and they really set a nice vibe. They're also really great lights for camping, or emergency preparation, because they use an incredibly small amount of power. 5.9 watts / hour, on the brightest setting. That's not per bulb, that's for the entire strip. Really impressive, and on low it's only 2.3 watts and it's still pretty bright. You could easily run them off a solar cell/battery/inverter. It's notable that they still use 1.3watts per hour when off entirely, probably to monitor for the remote. So if you're running them off a battery be sure to unplug them entirely when not in use. You will need 2 AAA batteries to power the remote, which you will require to actually turn the lights on, but only the first time, after that they remember their setting and if you unplug them from the wall and then plug them back in, if they were on before they will turn back on. The remote seems to work around any of the lights, they all act as receivers. There are also a few blinking modes, but I prefer the always on mode.

Smart String lights received as ordered. These are way cool!! Bulbs are LED, and a spare bulb is included. They can be controlled by remote(batteries not included) or via an APP accessed via a QR code. The brightness of the lights, blinking and other features of the set are great! It’s a light weight strand of 16 lights, set a couple feet apart, so covers a a good surface area. Also, bulbs are plastic so no worries about them breaking and the any injuries from glass shards. I’m very pleased with this product and highly recommended for your lighting needs!
