My friend got lights like these last year and has been very happy with them. She changes the colors for holidays and sports teams and it's super easy. She was also happy she didn't have to hang Christmas lights this year, which is what really got me interested in these as we live in a cold climate and sometimes the weather is awful when it's time to hang the lights. My husband was okay switching to these from icicle lights. They were very easy for him to install, even easier than clipping on the icicle lights, and they look so nice and professional. They are very bright, which I love because it's so dark once daylight savings ends. The colors are vibrant and using the remote is straightforward. We should have made the change earlier! It's a lot of fun to program them for different holidays year round and the kids enjoy experimenting with the patterns.

I recently purchased the RCUICA 500FT Permanent Outdoor Lights, and I have to say — these lights completely transformed the look of my home! These 500 foot permanent lights are wonderful on our house. I did not have any problems with installing them at all and is simple to do. I secured the lights with the included screws. These lights are waterproof for outdoor use and can tolerate high temps which is important living in the desert! The remote control makes it easy to control the lights from choosing brightness, color to preset scene modes. It's so nice to be able to have year round colors celebrating each season by just the click of a button instead of having to put up different lights for different holidays.

The media could not be loaded. Got these on sale for a great price for 500 feet of LED outdoor lights and I set my expedition was actually pretty low because there are a fraction of the cost of "Govee outdoor permanent light" Can't lie the most annoying part is trying to keep the lights from getting tangled up while taking them out of the box and the box looked pretty beat up but the lights were in perfect condition It took about 2 hours to put them up around the house using the adhesive to stick them in place then put a screw in each light (don't rely on adhesive alone) I'd say while the lights are outdoor rated and built decent they don't look direct exposure to rain or water kind of build While I can't speak for how long they will last I can say that so far they look amazing and way better then most of the permanent lighting in our neighborhood because the light design and distance between each LED is much wider than most other brands and it definitely sets them apart for more of home accents type lighting and less of a kids party light or string of Walmart Christmas lights and again in my opinion they just cast a better light design for year around use The app is basic and works fine (at least on Android phone) connects easily and has decent options the included remote works but needs direct line of sight to the main box and no more then 15ft away Overall a great deal and highly recommend especially if on sale for a good price it did completely change the look and feel of my house at night bringing the entire house to life with lots of color options A great inexpensive alternative to Govee outdoor lighting and perfect for the DiY on a budget
