Unfortunately, the unit I received turned on and ran, but there was an issue with removing moisture from the house. I contacted the manufacturer and they determined through a video that it was faulty and offered to send me a replacement. Service and support after the order is excellent and I give the company 5 stars for their service. When I get a replacement I will return and give an updated review. EDIT: UPDATED REVIEW I have received a replacement for the previous unit that was not working on arrival. This replacement came directly from the manufacturer and is working flawlessly. It runs exactly as it is supposed to and removes the excess moisture from the air. It is very humid where I'm located which causes my A/C to run constantly. My A/C unit as a dehumidifier that helps but it cannot keep up. With the Eueiriup 80 pint unit the humidity in my home has decreased tremendously. I am running it in the basement and leaving the basement door open so that the whole house is dehumidifier. My wood doors are not sticking like they were, and my A/C is running normally with plenty of time off. With this unit running 16 hours a day, my home is dry and the temperature is lower even though the A/C unit is not running as much. The A/C pulls more watts per hour than the dehumidifier so not only is it working better it is costing less on my utility bills. This is a fantastic unit and I totally recommend it for everyone. I have to say, the only thing better than this Eueiriup dehumidifier is the customer service that comes from this amazing company. They stayed in contact with me every step of the way with suggestions and genuine concern. I sent a video of what it was doing and they reviewed it with their engineers and came back with an acknowledgment that it was faulty and wanted to replace it. I asked them not to worry about it as I had returned the previous unit, but they insisted they wanted their customers to be totally satisfied and sent a new unit at no cost. Customer service like this is nearly unheard of these days, but this company has the integrity and customer concern to make sure to resolve any problems. I gave this product 5 STARS, and I give this company's service 100 STARS.

This is a nice dehumidifier with a large tank that gets the job done. However the listed square footage rating is too high. This is not a dehumidifier intended for 4500 square feet - however it is powerful and has good tank volume, it just isn't a large unit.

This dehumidifier pulled a lot of moisture out of the air. Before using it, the humidity level in the house read at 81% and about five hours later it was down to 51%. There was quite a bit of water in the reservoir to discard, and the house felt much more comfortable. There are a lot of settings to choose from, so I’ll need to look at those more closely, but for basic dehumidifying, this worked great.

Has the humidity readout on the top but then also displays it on the front which is interesting. This has multiple fan speeds and is even pretty quiet on the max speed. You can use it with the bucket or there is a small hose that connects to a drain spot at the top of the bucket. What is good about this one is it doesn't use a proprietary connection for the hose. I have another one that uses a special connector for the drain hose and it has broken off and to buy a replacement plastic connector is $50! which is nuts. The plastic hose that comes with this isn't all that long but since it is a standard connector you can get your own longer hose to drain it farther away. seems well made and hoping it last for many years.

This thing is easy to change, easy to set up, and easy to change. We live in IN and it's been sucking water out a ton, its constantly running; we gladly change the water out 2 times a day. The air quality is much better in our house, I have not tried the drain hose but that's another project later on.
