It's early on (About 4 days of use) but so far it's performing far better than I expected. I put it in my non encapsulated crawl space and it is pumping out 5 gallons per day ! This should make a difference in my mold and mildew problems. Setup is not too bad .I would definitely recommend. I will update my review after a few months of use.

Unit works great and is very quiet. Won't hear it all in the basement. Note that it does not have a threaded fitting for the drain hose like most others. Not ideal for draining to a floor drain or pump. Vinyl tubing is not very flexible so getting the proper down angle was not easy. I had to tilt the unit slightly backward to get it to drain into my pump (have no floor drain). This seems like something that should be engineered into the design.

I have only had my unit in operation for a short time, but so far I am very impressed with the apparent quality of the product, how simple the set-up was, how detailed and easy to follow the owner's manual is and how quietly it operates. It is also noticeably lighter in weight than other units I've previously owned. I like the water bucket location on the side and the 3 drainage options. So far the unit is achieving my set target relative humidity level of 45%.

This dehumidifier works great. We have had a moisture issue due to moisture in our home, which was quickly mitigated, due to the use of this product. I followed instructions per the manual. I let unit stand in the upright position as required. I set operating mode to auto, initially to 40%, then brought it up to 45%, gradually regulating the moisture in the home. Product did exceptionally well. We did our part by cleaning surface mold with the appropriate chemicals. The dehumidifier pulled buckets of moisture out of the air. I mean it was impressive it cover the whole bottom floor of an open two story house at about 1,400 Sq Ft with absolutely no problem. I got the bigger unit for bigger jobs, ie: up to 5,000 Sq. Ft. We chose to utilize the catch buck instead of the drain hose which was an optional attachment that came included with the unit. Unit is also extremely easy to clean! It also blends in so well with our home when store in the corner! Overall, it regulated the homes moisture very well. Amazing product for the cost! Highly recommended!!!

Purchased in January and it’s awesome! We have a 1,500 sq ft 1975 home and have always struggled with humidity, but not anymore. If you’re wondering if this works, it does. We went from nearly 70% humidity in our house (I know, it was bad. We were freaking out) to 45% in all rooms. I previously purchased a dehumidifier rated for a 1,500 sq ft house, and it did not do the job. Don’t rely on that alone. The way these are marketed can be tricky. You really need to pay attention to how many pints it removes. If your home is larger than mine, you’ll either need a bigger unit or two units. This one runs all day in our house. We empty it twice a day. It would be super convenient to have a drain option, but we don’t have that set up. It’s placed centrally in our home and it actually works. I bought six inexpensive humidity and temperature meters and placed them in all the bedrooms, kitchen, family room, and living room. The humidity dropped from 70% to 45% across the board. The difference is outstanding.
