I purchased this with the intention of using it in my basement where I hang-dry laundry. Set it up upon receipt and was impressed with how much it helped to dry the kitchen carpets. This unit will also be used during the humid months to keep the basement clean smelling due to the fact that there is limited air flow. If I decide I need one for the main living area, I would definitely purchase this same model.

Easy to setup and use. Our basement started at 70% humidity and now stays down to 38-42%. Took about a week to get leveled out. Roughly 1500 sq ft basement. We change water tank once daily. Super easy.

We had bought 2 dehumidifiers for our Florida condo. Very attractive and between $250 and $300 each. One failed after a little past the warranty period. I thought I’d try this brand - same capacity, lower cost by almost $100. Well, it pulls humidity down to at least 45% whereas the other brand, despite having settings well below that, never pulled below 55%. So, the new one is way better. I wouldn’t call this new one quiet, but it doesn’t rattle and is “fine”. I just like the fact that it does the job better at a lower price. I bought a second one, with the extended warranty!, and will keep the second “inferior” one as a spare. We’ll see how long the new ones last, but with the extended warranty, I’m comfortable giving them a try.

One of our 2 basement dehumdifiers died after 10 years of service. This is smaller in size and doesn't take the moisture quite as low as the prior one did... but it is quiet and the drain tube to the basement drain works well. Our basement has no basement smell with the moisture eliminated.

This unit rocks. Easy to set up, looks like it will hold up with constant use. Holds a lot of water, is very quiet, display is bright and easy to read. Does a great job in my basement. Worth every penny.

Bought this in April of 2025 and last week noticed it was frozen with a block of ice blocking the bottom half of the filter and I could not take the filter off. I had to unplug the unit to let it defrost and when 4 hours after plugging it back in the next day it started to do it again. I came on the site to check for seller info to contact and ask about help with the issue and noticed that someone else had posted a review of the same issue. The product worked great up until it froze. Now I can't keep it turned on without it starting to freeze. The photo is what it looked like when it started to freeze after having thawed it and plugged back in.

This dehumidifier was plug and play right out of the box and it seemed to work well but there is something wrong with the drainage connection/port. I have the hose connected to divert the water away from the bucket and into a sump well. Unfortunately, it only works a portion of the time. I am running it in my basement in tandem with another dehumidifier and if this one worked correctly all of the time I would be able to keep my basement at around 50 percent humidity, but it shuts itself off because the bucket fills up even with the hose connected. It is a pain now because I have to check it basically daily in order to control the basement humidity. One dehumidifier by itself has to work overtime so I am concerned that this glitch will wind up shortening the life of my other unit. The problem didn't show up immediately so I missed the return window. Reaching out for assistance ran me through test questions for troubleshooting that required follow up and the follow up caps seemed to lead to more questions that Judy prolonged the process. It's not louder or heavier than any other dehumidifiers that I have run.
