We are using two strings of these lights to line our pathway for Christmas. First of all, these are the brightest C9 LED bulbs yet! They look exactly like the original incandescent C9 bulbs. The lights fit tightly into the ground stakes and point straight up, which gives them a nice, neat appearance. The stakes are pretty short so expect the lights to be close to ground level. Upgraded this year from other pathway lights that never gave me the perfect look - this gives even spacing and every light stays upright in perfect alignment. No movement or tilting - even with some strong wind storms we had. I will be replacing the rest of my path lights next Christmas.

Like the lights. They light up our surroundings. Several neighbors want to buy some also. However, can they be dimmed? Some LEDs can. Will dimming the lights damage them in any way? Noticed mention from others that it is difficult to install the stakes. I found that putting each stake in a bench vise helps. Otherwise you really need three hands. ... show more
