We bought this as a gift for our daughter who just moved into a new apartment. We knew, judging from the dimensions, that the profile was very low to ground. We could also tell the cushions looked fairly thin so we expected a firm sit. These expectations were met. But for the cost, were are not complaining--especially when we found this exact same product at an online home retailer's website with a list price today of $769! It was, of course, being sold under a different brand name but the dimensions and all specifications match up exactly. I paid $369 on Amazon and that is what it is worth. I do not expect this product to have great longevity, and outdoor furniture covers will definitely need to be purchased if it has any chance of surviving the mild CA winter looking halfway decent. Assembly was straightforward and quick. For the most part we were able to use a drill with an Allen attachment. We only had to use the provided Allen wrench to hand insert bolts in a few spots. Overall, this set is a decent budget outdoor solution. That said, we fully expect this set to be here for a good time, but probably not a long time. I'd be surprised if it makes it five years in the best of situations. Still, would purchase again. (Tip on washing cushions: remove covers, zip shut, wash in cold water. Re-insert cushions while covers are still damp, put cushion in plastic bag, vacuum out air using hose end nozzle, keeping plastic bag sealed shut, position cushion in cover for good placement, release vacuum seal and allow air back into foam, finesse cushion until satisfied, then rip out plastic, dry rest of way in sun.)

Each piece stands alone so I was able to break it apart to fit on my patio as a loveseat and a chair with an ottoman. It's beautiful in person and looks more expensive than it was.

Took a couple hours to build just 1 person but an easy build overall. Sizing is perfect when you sit and lay back. Not too small or too big. The pieces are perfect to move around if you aren’t sure which wall or angle you want it on.

Washed the couch covers once and they got all shriveled up along the seems and no longer fit on the cushions. Not sure what to do with it now.

We really enjoyed this patio set initially and it looked great and had sturdy construction. However, we washed the covers one time (says it’s washing machine safe) but all the covers shrunk and it’s impossible to get them on now. I reached out to the company directly but never got a response. Due to the unique cushion design, I haven’t been able to find any replacement cushions or covers to replace these. Do yourself a favor and buy something else or just never wash your cushions if you get this set.
