It would seem like it's a versatile kit that will handle just about any ball joint. My concern is quality. The threads on the various pieces range from super loose to really rough. Will they work for the occasional ball joint, probably. Would I buy these if I worked on cars all the time? Definitely not. It does come with a nice case and decent instructions.

I do a lot of work on cars and trucks and got this set to make it less of a chore of removing ball type joints on steering rod ends and ball joints on the control arms. This set is very well made and reminds me a lot of the kit I used to use from OTC when I wrenched for a living that my former workplace owned. I had a portion of this kit that was from a different manufacturer that worked okay, but not like that set. From what I can remember, this set has a very similar length on the jaws to give the extra leverage of breaking loose ball joints and tie rod ends. I have used it a couple of times now on the ball joints of my Ford Escort and it has had no issue popping those rusty little buggers loose. This set is very well made with cast pieces that feel very heavy duty. In a lot of ways, they feel just like the OTC set I used to use. I wholly expect these to last quite some time and use due to this because they are very well made for the money. I truly think these are a very good product that will stand the test of time and use like nothing. They are pretty straightforward to use and work like you wouldn’t believe. Breaking loose ball joints and tie rods has never been this easy or pain-free. Give them a shot and you will see too!

I don't really know what to think of these. I'm not sure the quality justifies the price, but there is a lot of material that went into these tools. They are hefty. The castings on mine were extremely rough and the rounded edges were more rounded than I would have liked. One of the tools had difficulty screwing into the body. Some heavy grease worked somewhat. Threads do not seem very deep considering how much pressure these are expected to exert. The (powder coat?) finishing is a little slippery. I would probably file the tips down slightly to bare metal if I were confident they would not rust. If I run into any issues I will be sure to update this review immediately. If I were paying full price, I would probably shop around. They are ok.

Working on these newer model suspension systems can be extremely difficult and frustrating, especially if you’re not equipped with the proper tools for the job. This affordable toolset works well at disassembly of the components in use today. This is a heavy duty set that should serve you forever. Makes easy work of ball joints, tie rod ends and steering linkages. In a nice molded case that can fit in tight places for storage.

PROS: Nice storage carry case keeps parts organized, heavy duty parts, versatile and adjustable for most applications, should do the job if they fit your parts. CONS: Very poor dinged and jamming threads on most of the bolts, totally inconsistent bolt head sizes, some take a socket shaft, some take a socket or wrench, would have been nice to have all the bolts take the same tool, some of the parts have loose and wobbly fit bolts making perfect alignment on the item being pulled a bit more challenging, some have tight and jamming threads that either don't thread in all the way or out all the way, you'll need to do some final filling and thread improvement to get better functioning. Like everything else, you'll get what you pay for, although a decent kit for occasional use to the weekend DIY handy person, don't expect this set will stand up to daily automotive like uses. Your results may vary!

This is a good quality set of pullers all in one case. It comes complete with the pullers needed to break loose and pull ball joints, tie rod end, pitman arms and more. I needed it because I had to remove some stubborn rusted pully's on some old machinery that the shafts had gone bad. They worked like a charm every time, I had no problems with them breaking under the pressure I put them under, they held up great.

This CARVALAX 5-in-1 Ball Joint Separator, Front End Service Tool Kit for Tie Rob Removal, Pitman Arm Puller is nice. This is a nice 5-in-1 Ball Joint Separator. This come in a case. This come with most tools need to remove most joints. I like having the tools to remove ball joints and tie rod remove tools in one spot. The tools that come in the kit work great. This make it easy and fast work.
