Where do I even start. This tank is such an amazing steal. It’s sleek, clean, and just looks so cool once set up. It really comes with everything you need besides water and fish, which makes it perfect as a starter kit. The light is beautiful, and the included backdrop makes the whole setup look premium. The media filter works great and blends into the background nicely. I hear the water splashing more than the motor, and that’s only if you adjust the flow high enough. It feels surprisingly durable, even when moving it around while full. For a 5-gallon tank, it feels very roomy and well-designed inside. Since it’s glass, temperature doesn’t hold quite as well, but it comes with an added heater so you can easily monitor it. Definitely a fantastic setup for the price.

From the ultra-clear HD glass to the filter, heater, light, sand, rocks, and even a full cleaning tool set—this kit takes all the guesswork out of starting an aquarium. The tank itself is stunning. The crystal-clear glass makes the fish look so vibrant, and the 92% light transmittance gives such a clean, immersive view. It feels like a mini underwater world right in my living room. I especially appreciate that the kit comes with a heater. Most “starter kits” leave that out, but it’s absolutely essential for tropical and sensitive fish. This tank kit looks great out of the box, but what satisfied me most is how well the system is designed once you set it up. The hang-on-back filter is the standout feature. It uses a sponge and ceramic biomedia—not disposable cartridges—so it supports a stable nitrogen cycle. The flow is gentle, quiet, and perfect for a betta. The water stays clear, and the filter provides plenty of oxygen without stressing my betta, Vincent. The tank itself is beautiful: the black-tinted back hides equipment and reduces reflections, and the soft bottom pad keeps vibrations low. It all looks clean and modern. The only weak point was the included preset heater, which ran too hot and too cold. I replaced it with a quality adjustable heater and bought a digital thermometer, and now the setup is excellent. I also added blue gravel to deepen the substrate and provide some color. If the manufacturer upgraded the heater, this would be a near-perfect kit. Overall, a great little aquarium with a surprisingly high-quality filter and excellent design. With a better heater, it becomes an ideal home for a betta.

Very nice quality tank. It has basically everything you need to get up and running, aside from gravel and decorations. The shaded back glass is a nice touch, especially if you’re keeping it on a windowsill and want to cut down on sunlight. The included cleaning kit (net, brush, etc.) feels a bit flimsy, but I already have my own so it wasn’t a big deal. The filter seems to be cycling well, and the glass feels sturdy, not cheap at all. My only real gripe is the lid, it feels flimsy and low quality. It’s basically a thin piece of plastic that sits on small plastic brackets. If you have fish that are prone to jumping, or you want every part of the setup to feel premium, the lid might bother you as it's not completely closed. My heater has been working great so far, although the LED on it is pretty bright. I turned mine toward the back of the tank and that helped. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase.
