I couldn’t be happier with this aquarium kit! It really includes everything you need to set up a beautiful tank right out of the box. From the ultra-clear HD glass to the filter, heater, light, sand, rocks, and even a full cleaning tool set—this kit takes all the guesswork out of starting an aquarium. The tank itself is stunning. The crystal-clear glass makes the fish look so vibrant, and the 92% light transmittance gives such a clean, immersive view. It feels like a mini underwater world right in my living room. I especially appreciate that the kit comes with a heater. Most “starter kits” leave that out, but it’s absolutely essential for tropical and sensitive fish. This heater keeps the temperature stable and my fish have been thriving ever since I set everything up. The hang-on-back filter is powerful and surprisingly quiet. With both mechanical and biological filtration, the water stays clean and clear with minimal effort. I’ve noticed a big improvement in water quality and overall tank health. The safety reminders were also super helpful—especially for someone like me who’s still learning. The instructions are clear, and the included 24/7 customer support gives great peace of mind. With its compact size, this aquarium fits perfectly on my desk without feeling cramped. It’s a great choice for beginners and would make an amazing gift for anyone who wants an easy, stress-free introduction to fishkeeping. Overall, this kit exceeded all my expectations. Beautiful design, complete accessories, easy setup, and excellent filtration. Highly recommend!

Where do I even start. This tank is such an amazing steal. It’s sleek, clean, and just looks so cool once set up. It really comes with everything you need besides water and fish, which makes it perfect as a starter kit. The light is beautiful, and the included backdrop makes the whole setup look premium. The media filter works great and blends into the background nicely. I hear the water splashing more than the motor, and that’s only if you adjust the flow high enough. It feels surprisingly durable, even when moving it around while full. For a 5-gallon tank, it feels very roomy and well-designed inside. Since it’s glass, temperature doesn’t hold quite as well, but it comes with an added heater so you can easily monitor it. Definitely a fantastic setup for the price.

Tank looks amazing and has a great aesthetic, however it started leaking water after only having it for a month and a half. There aren't any breaks in the glass. The water seems to be coming from the seams of the glass which means it was not secured to last. It seems it was cheaply made. I really wanted to like it and that is why I give my reviews after I have had a product for a few months.

This tank kit looks great out of the box, but what satisfied me most is how well the system is designed once you set it up. The hang-on-back filter is the standout feature. It uses a sponge and ceramic biomedia—not disposable cartridges—so it supports a stable nitrogen cycle. The flow is gentle, quiet, and perfect for a betta. The water stays clear, and the filter provides plenty of oxygen without stressing my betta, Vincent. The tank itself is beautiful: the black-tinted back hides equipment and reduces reflections, and the soft bottom pad keeps vibrations low. It all looks clean and modern. The only weak point was the included preset heater, which ran too hot and too cold. I replaced it with a quality adjustable heater and bought a digital thermometer, and now the setup is excellent. I also added blue gravel to deepen the substrate and provide some color. If the manufacturer upgraded the heater, this would be a near-perfect kit. Overall, a great little aquarium with a surprisingly high-quality filter and excellent design. With a better heater, it becomes an ideal home for a betta.

Nice tank but the filter system is way to small for it and only had 1 medium. I have 2 small fish in it and it struggles to keep up with them. I added a carbon medium to help but it's just way to small for the tank should be bigger and will need to buy a new one.

My kids are so into building eco systems this summer. We have started several small ones with gallon water jug, old small tank from friends but when they got 2 beautiful beta fish, they asked for a nice one. And we are so happy to get this one with everything included to start. The glass looks very durable. And the back glass is naturally black which is perfect for beta fish. It’s tall and wide enough for us to separate it for 2 beta fish to share. They just love it.

Super great quality I have it next to my 20 gallons long and it fits about perfectly for anyone looking for size reference on the 5 gallon! The tank itself a beautiful rimless tank I like the black tint on it it helps great a barrier I needed ! The black rock sub strait is good definitely need a little more so it’s ticket for plants or just whatever fish you get the preferred amount of substrait I put in some I already with it so it works out . The rock that came with it didn’t float so not weight need for them and filter it’s very easy to set up I can’t tell not much maintenance will be needed because everything is washable so no need to replace anything and it’s very quiet dosent make any noise ! And heater works great I like how it’s compact ! It isn’t adjustable but my tank sits at 80 degrees so it perfect for me !
