I love this system. This is the first security system I have had on my home, so I don't have any previous experiences to compare to, but I am very happy with it. I have been wanting to get a good security system for a long time now, but I have always been deterred by the ridiculous prices on most security systems. I never felt comfortable paying prices that high and not knowing if I would be able to wire up the whole system on my own. I really didn't want to have to drill holes through my walls and figure out how to run wire everywhere and I certainly didn't want to have to pay for an installer to do it. When I saw this wireless system on Amazon I decided it was time to finally try to install a home security system. I love the simplicity of this security system. You don't have to run any wires or drill holes through the walls to connect the cameras to the base. I love that these cameras are charged by solar panels so you don't have to take them down to recharge them or replace batteries. I love being able to receive alerts and see exactly what's going on outside my home without some complicated system. The camera quality seems to be pretty dang good. I was worried that the video would be blurry since this system is relatively cheap, but the video quality is awesome (once you switch from SD to 4K in the app). The night vision recording works really well also and it's really nice having the ability to have a clear view 24/7. I also like that it can be integrated with Alexa, although I don't currently use anything with Alexa yet. But it's good to know that option is there if I decide to start using it. Overall, I am very happy with this system and thought it was pretty easy to set up and get running, despite having no prior experience with security systems like this. I will probably order a second system to add to another building on my property soon.

I have a ton of IP cameras and generally prefer ones that do not require Internet access and allow me to record to my own server. Read on for more details, but despite some limitations, these are great! These do work without Internet access, but you lose the ability to receive notifications and view them outside the house, so I left them Internet accessible. NOTE: Phones use Internet access for Push notifications, so that is not a problem specific to these cameras. The motion and person detection work very well. It lacks a snooze feature, so you have to manually shut off notifications temporarily if you are hanging around outside in front of the cameras. Now as with all solar cameras I've tested so far, you cannot record to your own server, likely due to battery management reasons. I'm hoping they one day add the ability to at least have the camera upload it to an FTP server for you or at least access the storage of the included hub. Speaking of the hub, you can add an optional external SSD or even an NVME style drive underneath the hub's base. The cameras initially connect wirelessly to the hub, but you can (and should) later change their connection to use WiFi instead, for better range and quality. The night pictures I included are with night vision (infrared) and another with the spotlight of the camera. Battery life seems good. They survived some overcast days well. The connectors for one of the camera batteries appears to not line up correctly and if you jiggle the camera it shuts off/on. I tried the "good" battery in both cameras and it worked, so I know it is the one battery that is defective. UPDATE: Support sent me new batteries and they work great now! The price is a bit higher than other solar cameras, presumably because of the included hub and its storage, but it is a really nice system. I highly recommend these for a true wireless solution.

As described, VERY nice home security system that doesn't use cloud storage and/or subscriptions. Quality appears top notch, equal to the Ring and Nest cameras we have at work, and videos are crystal clear 4K, even in low light. Got this to replace a couple of Wyze cameras which were basically useless, they detected the smallest movements, as in leaves moving on the trees, whatever, and basically recorded all day long... Directions were very simple and easy to follow, setup was straight forward, had some initial trouble but it all cleared after upgrading firmwares. Still playing with settings, but so far detection has been great, very few false positives unlike the Wyzes. Did run into problems with one of the cameras not charging properly and had to move the solar panel, at least here in PA they appear to need at least half a day of direct sunlight. Highly recommend this!
