Bluetooth disconnects constantly, every minute or so it goes through a full cycle of disconnecting and reconnecting. Very disappointed in this product, worked well for a couple of months and now the Bluetooth won't hold a connection. It was a good product until this issue arose, now I can't recommend it. ... show more

This is probably the best $100 I’ve spent in a while. Time well tell if it will last, but it’s a great value. I was skeptical because of the price. I figured it would glitch out and be laggy or have bad audio or something. I wanted this because I hate the look of aftermarket radios and the radios that looked good don’t come with AM radio anymore. I might be the last person on earth that listens to AM radio, but I do every day. This fit perfectly on my Jeep Wrangler mirror and I was able to hide all the wires and hardwire the power to a fuse tap. It comes on with the key now and my phone connects to CarPlay in about 15 seconds. The front camera is better than the backup camera but that’s ok. The backup camera is the main reason I bought this. I can’t see anything out the back of the jeep and it was a dangerous situation. I have wired in many aftermarket radio and backups cameras over the years. This is the first one I’ve seen where you do not need to wire the camera into power. It does come with a reverse wire. I assume it would make the entire mirror switch to the camera when in reverse, but I did not bother wiring it up. The camera is constantly shown to the right of CarPlay and it’s big enough for me. The CarPlay is a plus. I really only use it for maps and it does that perfectly fine. It’s not the fastest reaction if you try to use CarPlay from the mirror, but I just use my phone to change songs or adjust the map. It might be a different story if you are planning to use the touch screen on the mirror to control CarPlay exclusively. I would definitely buy again and I’m glad I gave this a shot. I can not see out the back of my truck dark tinted window and a bed cap made the mirror useless. It is a nice old truck and I didn't really want to to start taking the dash apart to swap stereos either. This thing is almost the perfect solution. With gps integration and a modified oem style bracket. I'm still amazed at the benefits vs the cost. I bought and modified a bracket meant for another brand of mirror display. Did not hookup backup wire and keep mirror on screen always. I do wish the distance perception was closer to a real mirror, but like how you can swipe to see lower while backing into a spot. I use waze and streaming music, both connect fairly quickly and waze seems to anticipate my daily routine... drive to work in the morning, home at the end of my shift. Saved me from being late once, I was going to stop on the way to work, but it showed I barely had time to get there due to an accident. I skipped the stop and was not late. The REAL negative is that if I left this plugged in to a hot outlet even with the display dark, it runs my battery dead if I don't drive for a few days or longer.... VERY dead. I used an add a fuse tap and wired a igntion switched outlet under the dash which has the benefit of hiding the wires too... It just takes a bit longer to connect and some static from the fm radio connection while waiting. ... show more
