I really love this 4K Indoor Security Camera. It’s perfect for being able to keep an eye on the inside of my home as well as my pets. This would also be perfect to set up in the baby’s room. The ease of setup and installation was quick and easy. The app was easy as well. It takes beautiful and clear videos. Now that I have 5G this is even better with the 5G capability! This is my second Akinguar camera and I really appreciate the quality of the video. There is a standard definition or a high definition option. In high definition, the picture is very clear and crisp at 4k. The camera is easy to set up and add to the Vsees app. There are options for notification of various scenarios, namely: human detection, face detection, pet detection, etc.. I would like it better if the notification came to my phone more quickly, but it takes several minutes for the notification to come through. The camera has the ability to call a cell phone that has the app. From the app, it is possible to speak to the camera, so there is 2 way audio. I do not find the audio to be high-quality; therefore, I do not plan to use the audio feature. I was delighted to determine that this product came with the microSD card installed and formatted. This is a great feature because it eliminates the need to purchase cloud storage to view playback. Once the camera is purchased, there is no additional purchase required to use it to capture and replay video. Unless you know how to look for it, it is difficult to find the SD card. In order to see the card slot, you have to tilt the camera up with the pan/tilt controls. You cannot move the head of the camera manually, you must use the app controls. This camera has a decent night vision feature, so if you are recording in low light during evening hours, it will still show clarity. I am using it to monitor my cat who has some bad behaviors, which makes it necessary to capture video at night. This serves that purpose very well. When monitoring the camera using the app on my cell phone, I can pan and tilt to view a very large area. For the price point, this is a great little camera.

This indoor security camera is a fantastic option for anyone who wants comprehensive home monitoring. A bit like a little video talking friend. *Make sure all the plastic protective film is off before you plug it in.*Also, download the app and set up before you turn it on, so you can successfully connect to your phone. It gets going within seconds! Talks right away. Great value that you can plug and immediately get started without waiting. Good quality build. It does make some unknown clicking noises as the head turns (or ours did), yet seems to be OK. Can't wait to explore all the options over next weeks to keep family and pets safe and happy. The media could not be loaded. I was genuinely looking forward to testing the Akinguar 4K Indoor Camera. It arrived well packaged and sealed and includes a nice long USB Charging Cable. I didn't realize it came with a usable Micro SD card so I removed what was in the Micro SD drive slot thinking it was just there for shipping. Took my pics after removing the SD card and tried to reinsert it but it didn’t seem to want to stay in. I was finally able to re-insert the card but just as quickly it disappeared into the camera enclosure. I tried multiple times to get it back out but it looks like I have a camera with a faulty SD card slot. I use SD cards all of the time so I'm quite familiar with how they operate. I use them in my Drones, computers, phones and in all of the indoor / outdoor security cams at both my office and home but I've never had this happen to me. I'm truly surprised as I never imagined a Micro SD card would be able to exit out the back of the drive mount into my equipment. I'm not planning to power the camera on as I don’t want the SD card to create a problem with the inner mechanical workings of the camera. This is truly a huge disappointment for me and gives me pause for concern about the quality of the camera build. All of my other indoor cameras (Tapo, Kasa, Little Elf) have survived various forms of abuse, from being knocked about by my dog or getting accidentally banged up by me - but they're all still in use and working. I was so looking forward to setting this 4K camera up & wanted to compare the video quality to my other cameras. Not going to be able to do a thorough review or even test the camera out now. Very Frustrating! 1 STAR for shipping a Camera with a Broken Micro SD Card slot.

I really like this little high tech eyeball. It's just amazing what these new cameras can do and at a very reasonable price. The picture quality is great but it must have a low frame rate because if the dogs are running around they are a little glitchy looking. It was easy to set up, even for this old dog! It's amazing to think that just a few years ago this kind of technology would cost ten times as much as what this cost. Now how you gonna beat that.
