This portable 4G LTE WiFi hotspot is compact, easy to carry, and simple to set up. Just insert a compatible SIM card, and it provides a stable internet connection for phones, tablets, and laptops. Great for travel, road trips, remote work, or as a backup internet option. The battery life is decent, and the signal has been reliable in areas with good cellular coverage. Overall, it’s a convenient device that does exactly what it promises. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

To difficult to set up

Setup was quick and straightforward, and getting connected was easy. The included free 5G data is a nice way to get started without any upfront cost, although it expires after the first month. One thing to keep in mind is that the data plans seem a bit expensive compared to some similar products. Unfortunately, the battery on my unit appears to be faulty. It only charges to about 75%, though it has still been functional during my testing. The biggest disappointment was the signal. In areas where my T-Mobile phone only gets 0–1 bar of service, this device also had little or no signal. Based on my experience, it didn't seem to switch to another carrier to improve coverage, which was something I had expected.

It was a great option for a trip I had planned to the mountains, where I knew my phone would lose signal, and it really worked wonderfully. I set it up from home, and as soon as I arrived at the campsite, it connected very quickly. The device's battery lasted for several hours with continuous use.

This might work for some, but did not work for us. I purchased the gigs for our camping trip but could not get it to work. I think it is a waste of time and money.

Our campgrounds suck for Mobil service, and this unit allows us fairly reliable streaming for our travel trailer TV’s. Now, the idea of camping is to unplug and enjoy the quiet and nature. However, we have an outdoor TV and have experienced some in climate weather where streaming is nice from time to time and not having to mess with DVD’s. We LOVE the ability to only pay for what we need- if we know we’re camping 3 days we simply purchase the allotted time of unlimited data- we’re not paying for service while we’re sitting at home not camping. If we don’t camp for a month, this unit costs nothing. No monthly fees, no activation fees, no fuss. Set up is a bit frustrating but it’s certainly do-able even for the most non-techy folks. I think this is mostly due to the extremely small print in the included manual, I found web searches to be much easier. Also- this unit so far has only used T-Mobil towers, when it seems another service has stronger signal. I’m under the assumption it scans the airwaves and uses which ever provider is better, hasn’t been the case as of yet. The unit is small and comes with a USB-C cord (no adapter), and sets up both a 2.4 and 5ghz signal. We’ve streamed on two TV’s at once, and it only buffers occasionally. APP is fairly straight forward and wirelessly connecting to the unit for setup, updating and maintenance is straight forward. Purchasing airtime is as simple as scanning the QR code on the screen. Once your account is set up it pre-fills your units IMEI and E-SIM which saves a lot of aggravating typing out of insultingly long numbers. This unit is NOT touch screen and all functions are handled with two buttons. It does not have the ability to boot off unwanted devices. In other words, if you have 4 phones connected and want to stream TV, to end phone bandwidth use you’ll have to use each other connected device to shut off WIFI. Not a huge deal, but if you give someone your password just know you’ll not be able to limit or block their use in the future, you’ll have to change your password(s) (both 2.4 and 5ghz have separate passwords). All in, we would definitely buy this again. We give 4 stars because of the fact we’ve not yet seen the device use anything other then T-Mobil towers.

handy device to have around. I bought it as a backup internet option and it’s worked great so far. Easy setup, decent speeds, and no SIM card hassle. Nice peace of mind for road trips, coffee shop work sessions, or when public WiFi isn’t reliable.
