I set this up for my wife's dog grooming salon. While security is a consideration, our primary goal is to monitor the grooming sessions. The business is dedicated to providing a stress-free experience for the dogs and ensuring their well-being. However, achieving this can be challenging, so having the ability to review past sessions has been essential for her. So, we've set up a dome camera in each bathing area and then put one of the traditional cameras up front for monitoring the lobby area. Setup: Setup was mostly easy with the challenging part being running drop downs from the ceiling. Which isn't really something that falls on this unit but wiring itself. Once everything was plugged in, which was easy enough, it was just a matter of navigating the software via the app. It was really a lot of plug and play and couldn't be much easier. We decided to keep everything local and use the non-internet version as most of our needs occur during business hours. I took a spare mouse and monitor I had and simply plugged them in, its that easy thanks to the way the built in OS is done. We don't really need to access things remotely so this setup was perfect. Thoughts: For our needs this is perfect. The dome cameras are outdoor proof so any concern we had about humidity is handled and the onboard recording longevity is more than enough for our needs and if we needed to move data, its not an issue. Additionally, because of the ability to plug in a monitor and view on the spot, it does everything we need. Great all in one security system. Has 8 total cameras and a total of 4tb of storage with the ability to expand it even more. You have the ability to look at footage any time without the need to have an internet connection which is great for having it installed in a remote place.

This is a pretty good security camera system. Over $800 may seem like a lot, but you get 8 cameras (4 bullet, 4 dome), the hub yhat can be expanded up to 10 cameras, and a 4tb hard drive. It's no small price on paper, but you get a pretty complete system for a good chunk under $1000..I think that's a good deal. The image quality is good. I like that you can still use this just fine without Internet connection. The ai seems.not too bad at detection of movement, people, cars, animals. It works decently at night as well as daytime. Cameras have built in microphones and the sound quality is not bad. Setup is easy enough. It's plug and play. Accessing video is not too hard.
