Cleans well.
My wife uses this to periodically clean her coffee maker, as well as her tea maker. It does a good job and is easy to use.

Wyhy No Instructions?
I am giving this 4 stars because the label has ZERO instructions. They want you to use your reader to go to a cookie tracking web site to get the instructions! Really bad form. The stuff works, but they should really be more transparent and just write the instructions on the label.

Works great
I have an OXO 9 cup coffee maker (which I also love), and this works great for cleaning it. The stainless steel carafe was getting stained, and not cleaning with regular soap, etc. On someone's advice, I put in a regular dishwasher tablet and filled it with hot water and let it soak, and that cleaned it like new. However, I bought this Biocaf cleaner to try, and it works just as well. After using, the carafe looks perfectly shiny and new inside. And I run it through the coffee maker also, and it returns the water tank to beautifully clean too- after months of use, it starts getting a little brown and cloudy from my well water. So, this does a very good job, and is economical. Definitely recommended- ditch the other cleaners, use this product which is meant for the job! ... show more

This is a 5 Star product!!
this is the most efficient coffee equipment wish that I have used and it is phosphate free and leaves no residue or aftertaste. And isn't that what you are looking for in a product to keep your espresso machine or other coffee equipment in tip-top shape. This is a highly recommended buy and with 100 uses, it also represents great value! ... show more

Great espresso machine powdered detergent
I wanted a non- toxic espresso machine powdered cleaner and thought I'd give this brand a try. It had a few good reviews online, so I bought it and yes- it's a great cleaner!!

Easy to use and very effective
Used this with a Zojirushi stainless steel carafe yesterday that hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in years (gross, I know). I’d previously used the blue liquid cleaner from Urnex a while back that was made for commercial coffee maker carafes, but I seem to have misplaced that bottle in our recent move. Saw that this powder was more eco friendly and gave it a shot. The instructions said to put a 1/2 tsp into the brewing basket directly for 64 oz of water. I was super skeptical about how that tiny amount could possibly clean it but gave it a shot. After letting it brew and sit for about 45 min (forgot about it), came back to a sparkling clean carafe! Afterwards I rinsed the carafe and basket thoroughly. I was pretty amazed and it was definitely far easier to use than the blue liquid cleaner (and way cheaper too). Will be using this regularly from now on. ... show more

Worked, surprisingly
Expected an environmentally safe product like this to be weaker, but it did a great job for my older portafilter. I'm sold!
