Arrived FAST, well packaged Good box and tape well protected, tie strapped and foam rubber, had all necessary tools, even came with one extra screw, washer and Nut, in case some nut loses one. Large print clear instruction manual. This is a really good rack for the money. The basket arrived in an undamaged box and the basket pieces were neither bent nor scratched. The seller did a good job of using pieces of foam taped around corners to avoid the pieces from rubbing against each other in transit. They also provided the basic tools needed and instructions which were clear and should allow anyone who can assemble Swedish furniture to also put this basket together. Once assembled, this basket appears to be a good balance of sturdiness and relatively light weight. However, potential buyers need to make note that the biggest complaints of these roof top baskets is that they rust from the inside. With that in mind there are several potential points of entry for water which all steel roof top baskets like this one are going to have. So unless someone spends the extra cash on an aluminum basket, preventative steps need to me taken during assembly to mitigate moisture getting inside the tubing. Only time will tell if I did a good job, but I got some black RTV silicone and applied it to the connection points for the basket segments. I also applied it to the underside of the top perimeter tube where the ribs are tack welded into it. The tips of the ribs are recessed into the bottom of the top perimeter tub and there are very large spots for moisture to get in. It is a bit of a messy job, but is easily manageable with care and gloves. Additionally, I got some high quality black duct tape and wrapped it around the connections. I then put RTV over the screw heads. I spent less that $10 for the RTV and tape. I thought about painting it, but decided that I wanted to see how the provided paint on it would hold up and I can always paint it later. I will follow up at a later time to update my review for whether my preventive measures made any difference. I am giving four stars based on the the packaging, perceived sturdiness, and the ease of assembly for the basket. While I am still managing my expectations given its price, I do wish something could be done better with the manufacture sealing the connection points and the point at which the ribs connect to the top perimeter tube. Given I paid $10 to seal things myself, it would seem there would be value there.

Looking good as i bought good as new item, kinda hard to install the bolt that holds the star emblem on each side but so far i figured it out how to make it done, it looks sturdy and looks like it fits in my mazda cx30, durability check, portability check, and as expected there a lot of scratches on the item but everything is fine goo buy for me 👍👍👍

First off, the price of this quality luggage basket could not be beat. While the package arrived partially opened, all parts, except for the assembly/installation instructions were included. Garvee's customer service was exceptional in providing me with a replacement assembly/installation guide via email.....Assembly was not at all difficult....I assembled it indoors by myself within no more than 20 minutes......I have not yet attempted it to attach it to my 2021 Subaru Crosstrek, but I look forward to doing so.......this basket is an absolutely solidly built of quality material.....attachment instructions appear to be somewhat easy......HIGHLY recommended....

I read a lot of reviews before I purchased a product and settled on this. I used it on a 2021 Pacifica with full sun roof and it worked perfectly. It's the same size as the roof and very large. We used it with a weather proof bag as well. Very sturdy and hasn't rusted when left on for a few months. Be sure you really pay attention to the instructions for the clamps. One way almost fits but doesn't then when you look at the instructions you realize you did it wrong. My only concern is it is two pieces (front and back). Where they connect is a weak point and you can see it sag. This might be able to be fixed if you situate it on your cross bars differently. We didn't load it too heavy so it was fine. I would recommend this to friends who are looking for a roof rack.

Good rack for the price if it's on sale. Like the other reviews, the paint isn't great so it'll show up with some dings and it will chip when putting it together. But, it goes on the roof so not the end of the world. The problem: IT'S NOT UNIVERSAL! Measure your Roof Bars. If they are 33" on center or some increment of that, they fit great. If not, the brackets will never work. My bars are 31.5" apart so the front bracket sits nice, but the rear bracket only makes contact on the edge. It can't be secured properly. The bracket design only fits bars spaced perfectly to the rack. I had to return because there is no solution. It just isn't universal like claimed. I emailed customer support if they had a different bracket. They responded in a couple of days with a long list of questions about the batch number, the number on the shipping label, and a ton of other questions that had nothing to do with the size. That tells me, they don't have an alternative bracket, and I didn't want to spend 2 weeks gathering info for them to tell me that. Going back.
