I’m very happy with this dehumidifier. It was easy to set up right out of the box and started pulling moisture from the air almost immediately. I use it in a large space and it keeps humidity at a comfortable level without any issues. I really like how quiet it runs for its size, and the controls are simple and easy to understand. The water tank is easy to remove and empty, and having the drain hose option is a big plus. It feels well-made and sturdy, not flimsy at all. I purchased this because I had tried so many others that just didn’t work how I needed them to. Where it gets so cold in the winter here and the windows are older, I have constant humidity issues it seems. The windows always have ice and water on the inside of them and I’ve never found a dehumidifier that could actually fix it, not just solve the problem for a few hours. This Glowells 52-pint Energy Star Dehumidifier has been one of the best household items I’ve ever bought. I decided to try this dehumidifier in particular because it had great reviews and won an award for being the most efficient dehumidifier in the year 2024. I’m so glad I tried it!! It has so many cool features I don’t even know where to start. I love that it’s light but very efficient and powerful at the same time. It has a handle and wheels so it’s easy to move around and put it wherever you need it. I mostly use mine down in the basement since and humidity is high down there. First I tried the dehumidifier mode and it worked so good, I was pleased. Then I put in on the constant to keep it at 35% humidity. I used to wake up with a snuffy or plugged nose in the morning and that is now gone. Also the musty smell was totally gone out of the basement. I didn’t think that could ever happen!! I like that it has a timer so you can set it to run to dehumidify how long you want it to. It had a great display and I checked it against my own reader and it was only 2 degrees off so pretty accurate!!! I also use it upstairs in my living room last to dehumidify and clear the air and the windows from the water they get from the humidity. Another favorite part of this machine is it had a dry mode too!!! I have big blankets that have to be taken to the laundry mat and then I air dry them. This machine has a whole drying mode too that of course you can set the timer I’m so you don’t have to worry about anything catching fire or overheating for example. The blankets used to take overnight to dry. With the dehumidifier, it only takes about 4 hours total and they are totally dry and ready to go. Another nice part is how quiet the machine runs. It has a white noise kind of sound so it doesn’t bother you, it actually relaxes you if you have it in your bedroom which I enjoy. It does cover the entire upstairs and downstairs which was exactly what I needed. Another cool part is you have the choice to use the tank or the hose and run it to a drain. Down in the basement, it had the hose connected so it can go to the drain. That way it runs constantly as well. You can use the tank as well which I do use upstairs and it has a great feature where it turns off when the tank is full so you don’t have to worry about water coming out everywhere. The tank also has plenty of room to hold water. It has lock out controls which is nice when you have kids so they can’t change things on accident. Compared to older models that I’ve used, this unit has been incredibly efficient. I have not noticed an increase to my energy Bill and it works so much better than the other models I have tried. It’s not as bulky either plus its extra functions make it that much better. The fact that it has three different functions in one is awesome! great value, would recommend! Maintenance is also easy with this dehumidifier. You just take out the filter and clean it. No new filters to buy constantly. Also it came packed great and was so easy to set up and get going. My house feels so much drier and it has definitely improved the air quality in our house which is always a plus!!

This dehumidifier has been an excellent addition to my home! It covers a large area with ease and made a noticeable difference in my basement within the first day of use.
