I think this is an excellent bargain. They shipped the 30 Cal cans inside the 50 Cal cans to save space. package was discreet too. It seems like I’m getting an excellent seal. I’ll circle back to this review if I find any problems. I switched from plastic cans to metal because when I put the moisture absorbers in the plastic cans, they turn green in a week, whereas in all the metal cans I’ve purchased they are good for months and months.

These are great cans. No labels or decals to remove. These can are not as heavy-duty as other cans I've purchased, but they are sufficient and water-tight. I do custom engraving on ammo cans, and these engrave beautifully. I have purchased these black cans three times and they sell very well. I'm attaching pictures of some of my work to show how well these cans engrave.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Better than I was expecting. The build quality, seal, weight behind it, and functionality is good. It will definitely protect your ammo from the elements. The only thing I do not like about it is the mechanism it use for getting that seal. It just seems like that the part should be welded on their and not riveted. The part that matters the most seems like the weakest link. Will it last years probably; will it last a life time (which is why you buy a metal ammo can) I dont think so. Only time will tell.

I bought this to hold some scrap metal and to do that I wanted to get an ammo can that would meet the requirements of being metal, can hold a significant amount of weight, and isn't an ugly storage box. This met all of those with ease. I purchased two of the Patron 50 Cal Ammo Can and saw great results with them. Looking through other reviews, I saw that there were a lot of complaints about there being a big logo on the side of the can however both of mine came completely black with no logos or blemishes. The inside of the cans is spacious and because the handle can fold down its also really easy to stack the cans. I was worried at first about the strength of the handle but I was able to carry around ~66 lbs inside of the can and the handle didn't give me any reason to believe that it was close to giving out which is great. However, I did not try the locking mechanism so I don't know how well it works. Overall, if/when I need more storage, these will be my go to purchase. 5/5
