The projector is very handy, it has everything you need and the image looks nice enough to see and isn’t just a blur you can costomize the focus and the farther the projector is the bigger the image is Cam with a hdmi cable that works fine va cable that I absolutely don’t use and the power cord all I’m saying is that it’s very flimsy and fall off if you pull harder than usual the projector comes with a stand that is my only problem with the projector bundle the stand is very cheap and the little brake to make the projector stay in place gets used over time and stop working so when you want to tilt the projector up it just falls back and point to the sky also the threads are destroyed on my stand and it goes in crooked. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I wanted a simple inexpensive video projector for Halloween & Christmas window video projections. I was hoping it could also be used for watching a movie with the family. I was pleasantly surprised it would do all this pretty easily. The attached photo and video is being projected on a piece of large white fabric. It was a photo backdrop set my son ordered years ago and has t been using. The diagonal dimension on the screen of that projection is 10 feet!!! I downloaded some Halloween window projection videos onto a USB drive and could run them fine by plugging in the USB drive. You can select multiple files and they will continually loop. For movies I tried a couple of things. I connected a MacBook Pro via a display port to HDMI adapter. That worked fine. I also attached an older Apple TV (2nd generation) via HDMI and I could watch Netflix movies easily or screen share anything from an iPhone / iPad. The room was probably about 80% dark. You will need it pretty dark for the best picture but I expected that. I’m not sure if it is 4500 lumens as that is not shown on the specs sheet in the manual. I attached a photo of the specs page. It has small speakers but you will want to use something else. Luckily there is an audio out. I attached it wired to my megaboom speaker and it sounded great. The fans are noisy but I’d rather have that so it doesn’t overheat. Just use an external speaker so it drowns out the fan noise. I’ve only had it a couple of days so can’t speak to longevity. But initial impression is positive for a low cost projector for informal movie nights or a window projection system. ... show more

I just got this projector delivered yesterday, and it’s great so far, especially for the price! I was concerned by reviews I saw about the lack of sound, and then it seemed like I was experiencing the same issue. I’d already played around with the sound and other settings, but I’d initially skipped over one in the subset of the sound settings called “Balance” - it comes auto-set to ‘0’. Steps (picture attached): 1. Go to Settings/Press the ‘M’ for menu on the projector. 2. Go to Sound. 3. Sound Setting - Movie (I haven’t tested all the others yet, but this always had the best sound for my other projectors). 4. Balance - Set to the maximum 50 — this is what made the sound actually come in. 5. Turn auto-volume ‘Off’ — this made a huge difference in how loud it was. 6. Surround Sound - SRS TruSound XT Of course, play around with the settings as you see fit! The biggest thing to get the sound working is to increase the balance, and make sure auto volume was ‘Off’. Hope this helps! I’m so happy with it, especially for the price, as this was meant to replace a previous projector I had for my bedroom. I was able to connect my Roku device without issue. I with there was a better way to hook it up to your phone (USB) or Bluetooth. But we used an HDMI cord and connected a laptop. I didn’t know it had sound so I just connected speakers to it. Oops. It was great to sit on the grass and watch a movie on the side of the house. The kids enjoyed it.

The media could not be loaded. There is absolutely no disappointment here with this. I told my neighbor I wanted one of these and she proceeded to pull her’s out and she said she loved hers. I searched her model because she got the PJ0501 from Amazon. I searched it and this one came up as an upgraded one. I seen the stars it had and seen how many amazing reviews this had. I requested two day shipping and got it in 1!!!! This is the best way to defeat a brand new TV!!! **6/8/2022 Update** So my screen finally showed up for this and the resolution is way better than the light blue ceiling I was using. I also bought a $9.99 ceiling mount for the projector and it’s great! I was able to switch the screen resolution because the ceiling mount is on the bottom. ... show more

I got this projector for my daughter who is in college and she absolutely loves it (I am actually the daughter writing in my mom's perspective so I will now write to my experience). This projector created so many memories for my first semester in college. I had movie nights every Sunday with my whole floor which made us so close and gave us something to look forward to. Each week, we had a different theme and I would send out a poll so people could vote on the movie they wanted. With this projector, I was able to plug in my laptop and project my screen. I was also able to connect an external speaker which made the sound quality amazing. The only thing I will say is that it is a little challenging to set up and figure out, however, once you do it is an amazing product! Other helpful things to note: it does come with an internal speaker but I found that an external speaker is a way better option; I had to stack multiple things onto of each other in order for it to be the appropriate height;I had to buy a cord to hook up the speaker with the projector. ... show more

I received the product and the HDMI port did work on the projector. Tried the remote to try the source button and just a complete fail. With out the HDMI port this was useless. Good news it comes with tri pod. Company contacted me regarding my review. They sent me a free projector, then asked me to change my review. Good news is the new projector work. For my purpose. Edit: still unhappy with the first order. However, I was contacted by customer service and they sent me a new much better, updated, higher quality one as a replacement at no cost. For the fact that they cared about my business enough to do that without the hassle of returning the 1St one and all that, they will get my bussiness for some time. As I now have 5 projectors and will continue buying them instead of just t.v. No remote or power cord. The tripod doesn't even hold it steady. Just not a very good product. Won't let me use Netflix. Sound doesn't work right when I use Disney plus. Paramount worked and sound was with an external speaker. Otherwise super unhappy... ... show more

I bought this to use for "digital decorations" and I am quite pleased with it, for that purpose. It's easy to set up and use. Sound isn't great, but no worse than most flat screen tv built in speakers. Native resolution is only 720p. I haven't tried it anywhere close to the stated maximum screen size (170 inches), but I don't expect a great image at more than about 70 inches or so. Still, a lot of projectors in this price range have lower resolution, and the LED light source is brighter than I expected. ... show more

If you’re looking for something that is cheap and reliable, then this is perfect for you! I would recommend getting a good tripod and a screen for this, that’ll help a lot with the picture quality and stability. As for sound. I haven’t really bothered with it as I have either listened through my headphones or a Bluetooth speaker. But this is a great product and worth every penny. ... show more

    • No sound with movies
I bought this projector to play movies outside. We used the fire stick and the picture was great! The problem was we could not get the sound to work with any movie, no matter which app we tried. The sound worked, however, when we watched a tv series, on those same apps. We could even watch concerts on YouTube with sound, but still no sound with any movie on any app. Unfortunately this is being returned to find one that will play sound with movies. ... show more

This is a good projector but it is for a really basic use. The projector need to be hooked up by a HMI or USB etc. if you’re looking for something really basic and sample to hook up a fire stick to I just watch TV this is the projector for you.

The quality is great, in all honesty it is worth the price. The audio stops at 50 but it can work if your using it at home. If you’re using it for larger crowds you can get a small speaker to connect it to. Worth it!!
