I purchased scooter for my 83 yr old father who lives in assisted living and wanted to visit the near by shopping center on occasion. He uses a walker daily, however, has COPD which makes walking long distances (even on oxygen) difficult. This scooter was easy to assemble. It took me about 15 minutes from opening the box to testing it out. It is rather small. I am 6'00" and feel a bit crammed on it but you can easily put your legs out to the side or up front and it is manageable. I think it is the perfect size for inside. Any larger and it would be very difficult to do a 3-point turn in the hallways of the facility. The speed settings are nice - ranging from 1-6. 6 is definitly only for outdoor use, and setting 3-4 is a great normal to quick walking pace. The seat is pretty comfortable and has plenty of padding. It would not be difficult to swap out the seat pad for something thicker if desired. It is held in place with hook and loop straps. Charging the batteries and swapping the batteries are the only downside I see. While it is easy for an able bodied person to change and charge the batteries it may be difficult for my dad. The batteries are located on the floor of the unit and simply pull up. The spare battery (we purchased the spare) is located infront of the seat and is easy to access, but the active battery sits under the seat and you really need to be off of the scooter to access it. Transporting is easy. The seat folds foward (flatish) and the steering column is loosened by a knob and then pushed forward. It does become quite long in this configuration but will fit in the back of an SUV or in the back seat of a car. The scooter has grab handles to lift with on the under side. We plan on getting an aftermarket mirror to attach to the floor of the front so he can see when going in reverse as turning his head fully to see behind him is a bit of a strech. Overall; 9 out of 10. Worth the price!

I purchased one these, with not a lot of expectation. I mean, it weights 43 pounds with 1 battery. I have post polio syndrome and cannot walk long distances anymore, or stand for long periods of time. We took a quick flight to visit my daughter (2 1/2 hours) and I took this scooter along. It claims to be airline approved and per Alaska Airlines, it is. We gate checked it. It folds very easily and you take the battery with you in carry on. It was waiting at the airplane door (make certain you get a 'cag' tag - that makes certain crews bring it up to the airplane door) - we unfolded it in one motion, snapped in the battery and I was off. My husband does the scooter for me. The scooter itself has a 300lb weight limit. I am not that heavy - less than 200lbs - 5'7" tall - knees are bent but not uncomfortable and it moves quite fast. There is conversation about the seat cushion, but it find it perfectly comfortable for the limited time I am in it. I walk about with a cane most times, this scooter is just for when there will be long distances or lengthy standing times. There is a small basket that fits up to a medium size purse. One possible negative the turn radius. It doesn't circle well in a small area. HOWEVER. It's is soooo light, it is easily lifted and positioned in the right direction if necessary. Honestly I am so surprised at how easy this was to use in our travel. Time will tell... Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. This is a great scooter with a light weight design. This entire unit with the battery is about the same weight as just one part of my old heavy scooter after it is disassembled to put into the car. Very pleased with look, performance, ability and ease of transport. It folds up nice and small and easily fits into a closet for storage so you are not tripping over it all the time.

Scooter is great. Light enough to move in and out of the SUV by myself. Moves easy over hard dirt and low cut grass. It does need more than 3 hrs to charge. Nimble enough for close quarters. Works Great for restaurants, shopping, ect. Had an issue with the 1st one, company was great, mailed it back, had a new one in less than a week. Definitely returns ones autonomy.

I was very excited to receive this scooter; it arrived even sooner than date expected. It is easy to assemble and fold down to compact, lightweight and easy for my wife to lift into the trunk of our Toyota Camary, and ideal for getting around. I love the adjustable speed setting and can set it to slow to stay with my wife's walking pace or fast to get away from her (laughing). I can now go shopping in comfort with my wife again :) Needless to say I am very happy with this purchase, and it was well worth the price. Ps. The battery power seems to last quite a while. I have had it shopping three times with my wife already and it still registers a little more than half on the gauge.
