Update to previous review: was able to get ahold of the company through requesting an invoice and when i explained my problem they immediately sent me replacement parts to fix it. Fans now work great!

The engineering leaves a lot to be desired. Foremost is its very difficult to install. The instructions call for completely assembling the fan with blades before attaching it to the ceiling. If you've ever tried to complete the wiring while holding a 52 inch fan with blades you'd understand how difficult this is. Even completing the wiring with just the light/motor subassembly is hard. The instructions assume you are going to mount it against either a wood or concrete ceiling. I have fan boxes (rated at 100lbs) already mounted recessed with the sheet rock ceiling so I had to get new 10/24 screws for those boxes. The blades are square tipped which looks dangerous not rounded as all my previous fans have been. The screws to hold the blades onto the fan arms are inserted from above which is why the instruction calls for assembling the entire fan before lifting up to the ceiling for wiring. All my previous fans, these screws are inserted from below which means you can put the blades on then fan arms after mounting the motor assembly to the ceiling. This means you don't have to fight the extra weight and complexity of the 52" blades while attaching wiring and screws. The fan arms which attach to the motor housing and their screw holes weren't machined correctly. Some screws were extremely difficult to thread without cross threading. The heads of these screws were marred from my attempts to get the screws threaded with pressure. Fortunately, since these screws (and the fan blade screws) are inserted from above this doesn't show. When I paired the controller with the fan, it didn't work. It seems to communicate because the fan light begins to blink 4 times but it's not discussed in the CHENGLISH manual. The manual suggests moving further away which I've tried. The manual says for problems where the fan doesn't spin "Make sure the blocker of the fan motor is removed." I never saw a "blocker of the fan motor" so I'm kind of at a loss for this solution. At this point I decided to review the installation video but it requires my credit card information and promises no charges will be made against the card. SORRY! I don't give out my credit card information. It's been stolen too many times. Continuing to look at the manual, in safety precautions it says to make sure the electrical service is "rounded" -- they mean grounded. Safe Precautions says make sure the anchor point can support 45kg, inside the manual it says 30kg. I'm about to email China to seek help. I'll let you know how the support is after that. For the record, I'm a licensed electrical contractor and a licensed Professional Engineer. I, personally, have installed about 50 fans from different manufacturers, crews working for me have installed many more.

These are some really nice fans! I purchased two for my covered patio to replace my older ones and these are fantastic! I love the multiple speed options and led brightness can be controlled. I went with the black blade color option and it looks very sleek. The remote controls and possible app option is a plus. These are easy to install if you’ve ever put up fans before. I recommend these. We’ve had them a week now.

The fan was easy to install. The shroud came broken in the package, but within a week or so Amazon sent me a new shroud. I love the magnetic connection along with the solder wired connection for the light, so any DIYer can easily put their own LED lights on the inside of the shroud, if they wire it correctly. Fan works well, and it’s great for my carport.

The fan looks great and was really easy to install. Took about 20 minutes not including building the blades and separating all the parts and pieces. The only “downside” is that the light doesn’t seem as bright as i’d have expected with it having an LED plate for a light “bulb”. All in all I say its worth the price but it isn’t bright enough for a dressing room.
