The strimmer and blower come packed in the same box and the strimmer has a jointed tube that allows it to be folded for shipping or storage. Assembly of strimmer was quite simple by reconnecting the handle tubes (slide in and lock with the handle), attaching the guard (cross head screwdriver required) and fitting the main handle (wrenches are included). The single battery has built-in blue charge indicator lights which may show the battery is fully charged even if the ac charger shows red. If necessaryit is possible to "top-up" the charge until the charger light is green. Both the strimmer and blower work well, but the strimmer "blades" wear quite quickly. The strimmer uses pairs of clip-on (keyhole mount) "blades" and two different styles are included (10 pairs of each style). The nylon filament style each have two filaments about 2.25" (60mm) which are quite fragile if you hit any hard objects. Our small lawn is probably about 10 feet x 20 feet and one side has a raised planter bed contained by a low brick wall. To trim the edges neatly it is necessary to cut right up to the wall. We used three pairs of the nylon filament blades before switching to the solid nylon style blades. The blower comes in two parts and the nozle easily attaches to the motor housing. The blower is more powerful than I expected but also quieter than most other leaf blowers I am familiar with. I find the blower much quicker for cleaning up leaves and trimmings.     • So far both are working great .
I was a bit hesitant to purchase due to some different opinions with bought the combo with the trimmer and blower and 40 V batteries. So far I used some time later, I can give up my upset and anxious, because of working good. Both are lightweight enough, easy to maneuver around my small yard. The string trimmer easily convert from grass trimmer to edger in second with the pivoting trimmer head , the leaf blower help me tackle the yard to clean job , it is good item.     • SELLER SITS ON RETURN & REFUND
The product looked nice but it was the wrong product for me. Seller agreed to allow a return and received the package on Sept 8th 2023 As of Sept 21st, no word from the seller and no refund. 10 business days later.... still no refund. Buyer beware. I will consider to remove this after the refund is processed and or leave it if I must dispute with my credit card. ... show more

    • What a nice surprise!
I was very pleased with this product. I was a bit skeptical about the blade system but I am 68 and was looking for something light weight and easier than the traditional string trimmer. I have my yard mowers and needed a trimmer for troublesome spots that are not in their path. So far I am very pleased. The trimmer was easy to put together and seems to have a good battery life. There was a good supply of blades included and I also received a bag of sting blades. Works well and my daughter confirmed that is was not near as noisy as our last trimmer. The blower is great and for me this was a great package! 2 garden tools for the price I would have paid for 1. The only reason I did not give 5’s is that I only received these last week and have not seen how it will last over added time. But for right now -I am one happy gardener! ... show more

I couldn't wait to get this out of the box. Quick and easy setup. Fast charger is sleek. Cuts through grass and weeds with no problem. The Blower is stronger than most battery blowers. Both the the trimmer and Blower have a safety feature which is great for preventing any accidents.

TLDR: This review is for both the Redback cordless mower and Redback Weed Eater/Cordless Trimmer. Redback asked me to not give a negative product review, and in exchange would send me free products. Both lawn mower and weed eater were defective and the weed eater was a major safety hazard. Item arrived. Followed the minimal instructions on the manual. Item never worked. Redback has no phone numbers, contact etc on their site when Googled it. I used the listed “contact us” option and my email was returned “undeliverable.” After several days of this Amazon made it right. Amazon refunded my money & apologized that one of their sellers, Redback, was so difficult to contact about a defective item. Amazon even made it so UPS would come pick the item up via me having to lug a giant box off to UPS to return. After Amazon made it right. Rachel from Redback sent an email. The email was to set up a phone call time to troubleshoot the item. By this time the item was already gone and refunded. Now that was just for the lawnmower. I additionally purchased the cordless weed eater and leaf blower. I liked that all 3 units were more compact, light weight , & ran on the same battery. Redback cordless weed eater was easy to assemble and I followed the manual instructions. Upon first use, I was about 10 min into use, the battery self ejected from the top of the weed eater. Thinking I didn’t fully “click” it in, I re inserted the battery. Began using for the other side of my yard. This is the stringless option and uses small blue “blades”. This was a feature that appealed to me. A few minutes in, one of the blades flew off of the unit. It had melted at the base that holds it onto the unit, melted and flew off. Being a bit more annoyed, replaced with a new blade. Now we were good to go and keep edging my yard…But wait, there is more. A collective 15-ish min into total use, the weed eater FELL APART. The bottom 1/3 of the unit detached from the top where I was holding the handles. This now became a HUGE safety issue! There was no fail safe to auto stop the now free swinging power head with 2 blades attached to immediately stop. I immediately took my hand off the trigger and the unit continued to freely swing like a mid evil torture device for another 5-7 seconds. This could have been worse. No one was actually injured, but easily could have been a bad situation needing medical attention quickly. So next, I went back to the email from Rachel @ Redback and updated that yet another product was defective. Next call was to Amazon customer service. They could see the issue with the lawn mower from the same company. I send them a video I took (safely) to show how the product came apart, while in use, thru no user error, & didn’t immediately stop running. Amazon refunded my money. They also asked me to dispose of the product as sending back would be useless since the item is a safety hazard. At that point I was satisfied. Until…. A call from the seller came in last night. (Amazon had already made it right and my money returned) Redback called and first apologized. Asked how to make it right. Told them Amazon has fixed the situation & money returned. At this point the Redback rep began to almost accuse me of not knowing how to use a weed eater. The Redback rep began to question if I was using the item improperly. I informed the Redback rep that I am a gardener & have years of experience using lawn & garden equipment. When I told him there was nothing more I desired that’s when the conversation shifts. The Redback rep asked if they could SEND ME FREE PRODUCTS AS LONG AS I DONT WRITE A NEGATIVE REVIEW!?! Are you kidding me? The call came in at 8:04 on a Monday night, from a “scam likely”phone number with an LA area code. The call was 12 minutes. The gentleman asked me to email him at: Info.swift garden.com with my address so they could send free product. I was so angry that is what he flat out was asking me to do. I read through (sometimes) hundreds of reviews on products I am interested in. I called Amazon customer service and let them know the information and that one of their sellers is asking to give false reviews in exchange for “free products.” Amazon was very interested in the information & noted they are looking into the situation.
