They may seem like a simple everyday item, but they've consistently worked better for me than many of the more expensive brands I've tried. The scrub side is tough enough to tackle stuck-on food without falling apart right away, while the sponge side does a great job of wiping down counters, dishes, and sinks. They rinse out easily, hold up well with regular use, and are comfortable to hold while cleaning. The first time I got these I was excited. The price is great and while thinner than our usual kitchen sponge they worked fine. But after the first pack they have deteriorated, they fall apart fast, not lasting a full week and getting so flat they are hard to use. I'll keep getting them for back-up sponges and doing things like cleaning the bathroom, but not for daily dish doing. Should mention we have no dishwasher, so they get heavy daily use.
