This is a very nice wheelchair, and a great value. I paid $899, yet people who know wheelchairs think I paid upwards of $2400. The frame is solid and made of quality materials. I think it could readily last for 40 years or more (with proper maintenance). It folds easily with one hand, and the luggage handle makes it easy to maneuver. It is fairly heavy, but if I remove the batteries first (10 pounds), I have no problem hoisting it into the trunk of my car by myself. The batteries slide right out of the side rails, which is very convenient. They claim each battery is good for 20 miles. I had it out for 8 hours on Saturday, up hills and over grass and gravel, constantly on the move and it only used up 2 bars (out of 5) from one of the batteries. So, that's nice. The batteries can be charged while in the chair, or outside of it. The seat and coverings are quality materials. It comes with a seatbelt (which I don't use), there is a pouch on the seat back, and a zippered basket under the seat. In the basket I found a tire-pump (cheap) and a headlight. The headlight attaches to the joystick and has a usb socket for phone charging or whatnot, which is convenient. It comes with adjustable safety bars to prevent wheelies, but I'm not sure they are necessary. I might remove them to decrease the weight. The footrest folds out of the way when the chair isn't in use, which is nice. It has fenders, so as not to throw mud. I'm not a fan of the factory programming the comes with the joystick, but this is a problem with all brands. I took it to a service department, but they couldn't find a programmer that worked on this model. The instructions came with an offer for a free accessory by emailing the seller. I did so, and received a cup-holder. This cup-holder doesn't really fit this particular chair very well, but I think I can adjust it to attach the same way that the joystick does. Overall, I am very impressed with this chair. It has given me a freedom which I haven't had for a while. I have received no compensation for this review, and have no relation or affiliation with the sellers.

To be fair, I am only doing a first impression here. I just got this chair yesterday, I unwrapped and did the few assembly things that needed doing, I fired it up and it did what it was supposed to do and it did it well. The box on delivery was definitely put through the wringer. (I am old enough to have used a wash machine with a wringer). Not a problem encountered. I am an old guy, auto mechanic for 45 years (probably why I am not good at getting around anymore). The build seems skookum (Alaskan for good) and I see no reason at this point to advise anyone against purchasing this chair.

Great Distance, a lot of care went into designing this. The extra battery is so great to have. Pros: long range, used it 3-4 hours at the Air Zoo and when we were done the original battery was about 50%. If those numbers play out long term with the extended battery you could theoretically use it realistically 8-10 hours. The motor switches are so convenient, unlock them and you can push/pull the chair around. Really good if you need to pull it up a few stairs. And then locking them back is like a parking break and engages the motor. Foldable arm rests another great feature, especially if you need to enter from the side. Also the usb connection adapter that comes with it allows you to charge a phone ir whatever using the chairs battery. Very handy and convenient Cons: Speed - I’m young but disabled, so the speed does leave a little to be desired. It can keep up with a normal walking pace but not much more. Comfort is somewhat limited by design. Because it’s folding the back angle is fixed to one position when in use. I would have preferred it a little more reclined. But understand given the portability. Weight - it’s heavier than you think, given I don’t think people will want to remove batteries just to load it. The carry handle is nice, but if you are supposed to carry it like a suitcase, it’s an extremely heavy suitcase. Not very practical as far as handles go. I also with they would have designed the back rest cushion with the for-thought of adding a backpack. It’s perfect size for a backpack, and I was able to add one, but I had to weave the straps and it push the back velcro piece down behind. Overall, well worth the price. Quality is nice, it’s not cheap feeling by any means. If you can manager a bit of a heavier chair then I’d highly recommend.

I can only make a statement as to the chair I received. Good sturdy wheel chair. As for the 40 mile range, Don't get near that range. Also chair is very slow. I'm disabled and can walk 2+ times faster. I will keep the chair but only because I have to have one now. I would not replace it with another one like this one.

I work for an ALF and one of my residents needed something that could attach to her walker to hold her cell phone, pens, and puzzle book, so I got this for her and she absolutely loves it, and uses it daily. The pouches hold quite a bit and the zipper is nice for things like her phone and wallet so she doesnt have to carry a purse on outings. I will be getting a few more of these to stick in our resident market jusy in case anyone else needs one!
