This is sturdy and holds up well. My insurance company paid for rental and this is the one provided. After 4 months we were going to have to pay another $105 for 10 more months after insurance deductible resets in January. Then we would own it after paying over $1000 for it. Our family bought this for an elderly parent because it had the best ratings as we looked online. It has been a great tool and helps us to get places conveniently. If there is one slight negative, it is heavy and takes us a bit longer to get it and out of our vehicle but it assembles in about 5-10 seconds (including the foot pedals) and folds away just as quickly. Although the heaviness may make it harder to pick up, it makes it SO much easier to push. We have borrowed lighter wheelchairs in the past (or have used different ones at the doctor's offices) and found that because they didn't support the weight of the person in the chair, it was harder to push them along. This terrific wheelchair supports the weight of the person in the chair so it is easy just to push and go. The chair is nicely made and very comfortable. The seat width is excellent if you plan to be in it for extended time. It is heavy, and although it does fold and will fit into the back of a small SUV, it is 60 pounds and is difficult to lift or unlift into the SUV with only one person.

This a nice product at a reasonable price. Although I rarely use a wheelchair unless I know that I will have to walk very far, or stand for very long, the times that I used this I was not disappointed with the purchase. It looks decent and appears to be very well designed and built. While it fits folded in the back of my 4Runner, it is however pretty heavy to get in and out of the car. I have no regrets purchasing it and believe I made a good choice as I needed one in a hurry to attend a funeral service where there was no available seating at the cemetery. It important Keep in mind not all reviews you see here pertain to this specific model as many different models are contained in the reviews. The foot rest broke off instantly due to a poorly designed SPOT WELD that connects the thin metals used to hold it together. Also the black lock lever broke off my hand due to cheap plastic. The wheelchair was delivered on time and was easy to assemble. My husband who is 6'7" and weighs about 345 lbs fits comfortably. There are 2 things he wishes to improve: the wheel was too far back for him to use on his own and the armrest is short. He also mentioned that the footrest can be a little longer.
