My only complaint for this wheelchair is that the chrome handrests are very SHORT. I personally cannot use them because I have to try to place my hands in back of me. Very uncomfortable!!! I wish they were LONGER. Other than that, the chair is actually sturdy, easy to fold, {lift up seat} large wheels which help tremendously with easy pushing for any helper. Item appears to be what the description shows, but I don’t have to sit in it, so I can’t comment of comfort. The chair is for my 90 year old mom, she hasn’t complained other than it’s so wide it’s hard to fit through the doorways without hitting the frame. Only complaint I would note was the packaging/delivery. When the box arrived, it was half opened on one end and had a puncture in the cardboard on the flat top. Thankfully there was no damage found. No assembly is needed for the chair unless you need the footrests (we didn’t) so it can be pulled out of the box and then just open the chair up, very easy to do alone. ... show more

Our family bought this for an elderly parent because it had the best ratings as we looked online. It has been a great tool and helps us to get places conveniently. If there is one slight negative, it is heavy and takes us a bit longer to get it and out of our vehicle but it assembles in about 5-10 seconds (including the foot pedals) and folds away just as quickly. Although the heaviness may make it harder to pick up, it makes it SO much easier to push. We have borrowed lighter wheelchairs in the past (or have used different ones at the doctor's offices) and found that because they didn't support the weight of the person in the chair, it was harder to push them along. This terrific wheelchair supports the weight of the person in the chair so it is easy just to push and go.
