Love my beautiful and very needed little scooter. I am 85 and cannot stand or walk. I am wheelchair bound and now happily will have fun on this scooter. It took me about 5 to 10 minutes to put it together. Such an easy assembly. The only confusing part was charging the battery. I did it correctly because it works great this morning. I just didn't know what to do about that little red switch in the charge up compartment. I found nothing on the Internet site nor in the booklet that helped me. I just took a chance, ignored that red switch, plugged in the cable charger for 10 hours. When I awoke I unplugged the charger and put the key in and nothing happened. I thought what do I have to lose as I looked at that red switch and decided to push it forward. I did so, turn the key again and wow the lights lit up. I was so happy. To improve this product,the company who sells this scooter should address this red switch in their information booklet and in the video and be sure the color of the switch is clearly red. Also, this Company does need to include somewhere their phone number for customer support. As of now there is none. For the price, this scooter is amazing! It was simple to put together and take apart. It's quite heavy and wouldn't recommend for daily loading and unloading out of a vehicle. I purchased this mobility scooter for my elderly, disabled father with the hope that it would help him stay mobile when traveling and visiting places that require a lot of walking. Unfortunately, we didn’t realize just how heavy it is (about 85 pounds), which made it impractical for his needs, especially since he needed something easy to transport. That said, the scooter itself is well-designed and seemed like it would have worked great under different circumstances. Our issue wasn’t with the quality, but with the weight and portability. One important thing to be aware of: if you decide to return the scooter for any reason, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs, which can be very expensive.
