I tried wearing this dress to work once, and even though we have absolutely no dress code, my boss asked why I came to work in my pajamas. Now, I try to avoid wearing it anywhere except at home. Sometimes I still wear it when I go to grocery stores or on walks with my dog. Honestly, I did get a large, and it might have looked less like a nightgown if I ordered a smaller size. It does not fit me the way it fits the skinny model in the pictures. It is a lot longer, and goes almost past my knees. On me, It looks more like it does on the bigger model, but I am a lot smaller. The Black/White stripe color was also a mistake. I don't know how to explain it, but the color also looks worse in person, and is definitely not very flattering, especially if you are thicker. Yet, none of the other colors it comes in stood out to me either. If you spend a lot of time at home, and just want something to chill in that's not as see-through as most nightgowns, then this might be the dress for you. Otherwise, you should invest in something more form-fitting. It's an okay t-shirt dress, but I just don't think it is worth $30.

Perfect for travel or running errands. Good weight for spring, summer or early fall. The fabric is lusciously soft and doesn't wrinkle. It has a nice drape and doesnt cling. Runs a little bit large so size down one size to avoid looking dumpy. I am 5'6" and the dress hits me just above the knee. I'm also busty and the v-neck doesn't threaten too much exposure nor does it pull across the chest.

I had very high hopes for this dress but was somewhat disappointed. It took really long for me to get it and they finally sent me another one. I had ordered the one in leopard which I adore, the material is soft and it is a nice comfy dress. I thought the black would be the same- ITS NOT. The black dress is a lot bigger and longer. Also not the same type of material, its a like a jersey, stretchy, clingy, material. The leopard dress is a really nice material that does not cling. If you have a rocking figure or a slight build this would be great but if you're trying to hide a multitude of sins it might not be the one for you. At least in the black. And size down at least one size if not two. I normally wear an extra large in dresses. I had to go to a medium! And in the black style I think a small would have still fit me. I'm five seven and 170 lb.

Absolutely love this dress. The fabric is a good weight not sheer at all. So comfortable, no wrinkle, perfect for travel. I went from previous reviews and sized down to a medium, normally would order a large (size 10/12 large bust). Ordered this in black and now ordered in green. Love this dress worn alone or with a sweater or kimono over it, looks great with wages, sandals or booties. Perfect for every occasion.

Dress is super comfy and soft. Runs very big. I usually wear a large on top and extra large on bottom. I carry my weight in my tummy . 38c, waist 35, tummy and hips 43. I saw thus ran large so I ordered a large instead of extra large. The dress was too big all over and just box shape. I sew, so I took in 1/2 inch on bust on each side seam from the arm pit down tappering in to an inch off each side of the waist then tapering out to the edge as i moved to the hem. this gave it only slightly more shape and the dress is still really loose. I like it though. I can sed this as a summer go to with sandals or when with leggings.

For a curvier hourglass girl, this dress was amazing!! Usually I buy Daily Ritual dresses for work because they are the right balance of comfortable + professional. This dress wound up being too short to wear to my teaching job, but it was so soft I kept it and I wear it at least once a week now! The dress is shorter but still a comfortable length. It is loose and flowy without being unflattering, and still manages to flatter my curves. It feels like a nightgown but is super versatile and works for anything from a beach cover up to a casual night out! I've even gotten compliments on it which surprises me considering it's such a basic dress. I just wish there was a midi length so I could wear it to work :) this one is definitely a keeper. A large me perfectly (5'7" 190lbs 34DDD)

I love this fabric. The pink and heather grey colors are beautiful. I own several other Daily Ritual dresses. This dress did not fit the same as the others. The shape was very boxy not clinging to my curves as the others I own. It hung loose like a potato sack. I was very disappointed I had to send them back. I think it was the cut of the dress I did not like. I am not sure if a size smaller would have even fit better. I am a 38DDD and size 16/18. I ordered the XXL same size as the other Daily Ritual dresses I own.
