This line cover set is exactly what you need for a mini-split AC/Heat installation to make the job so much easier to do and to have a clean-looking and professional job when you're done. Rather than trying to route the line set through the wall cavity, I prefer to make the penetrations straight through the wall to the exterior so I can make all of the connections more easily to make sure there's no leaks and to be able to service the unit in the future. Once you have the lines connected and routed to the compressor, you can install this cover set after you've done all of your leak testing. All of the parts and pieces assemble easily with a little bit of adjustment here and there. Comes with enough parts to make the length of run that's described as well as a flat 90, outside/inside corner 90 and a flexible section for the copper lines to go to the compressor unit. Just pay attention to the mounting collars when installing to make sure the half that accepts the screw head is to the outside to prevent you from installing it incorrectly. Also, the spacing of the parts how they slip together to keep the straight pieces short of the stop lines so when you go to put the two halves of the mounting collars together, they'll fit. If they bypass the stop line, the two halves will not close tight. Competitive price for a 16.5" line set cover. Much better quality than another cheaper set I purchased before just to save a few bucks, but ended up costing me more time and hassle in the long run. Bonus that it came in dark brown to match the trim on my house, so that saved me a step of needing to paint it afterwards. It was also shipped and received fast.

This kit of line covers is a nice and easy option for DIYers installing their own mini-splits. The pieces are durable, well made and strong. The pieces fit together nicely without slop. There are the corner options you need for the line to run where you want, but only enough for one turn in each direction. Luckily you don't have to buy a whole kit for more pieces, the company sells the coupler pieces individually. What i didn't like about this kit that led to the 4-star score was the provided screws to attach the pieces to the building do not appear to be exterior grade metal. Most kits use either stainless steel or coated screws to protect from weathering outside. It also would have been nice to have one more flat corner piece

For what you are paying, I feel like this is a great value. You are getting pretty much everything you'll need to run your electrical and lines for a mini-split (or whatever really). The longer pieces feel like they are vinyl and should handle weather plenty fine. The rest, I'm not sure about, but they seem to be of good quality. Everything snaps together nicely and the hardware that is included is appreciated. Some simple instructions would have been nice, but aren't all that necessary.

I like the solid feel of the PVC material. Although it is described as "decorative", I'd go more for "hide away". It is not particularly "decorative", I'd venture to say. Instead, I'd describe it as a nice way to hide the ugly pipes or tubes that are required by the mini-split on the outside of the building. I haven't tried painting over the PVC, but I'd first wash the surface and prep it for whatever paint you want to use! Being outside, the sun's UV and heat will try to destroy whatever paint you use, assuming you get it to stick well to the PVC.

I really like this mini split line set cover set. The lines look SO much better. Pros: This set is not necessarily thin, but it is lightweight. It is fairly easy to assemble/install without instructions. Comes with everything required for installation (less instructions). Paintable. Things to note: If you are ordering after you install your system, do not count the flexible portion as part of the length included unless you are willing to attempt to cut the backside open. I chose to install and check all lines before installing decorative covers so I did not use this segment. If you need a terminating end - There is no termination piece/segment ("end cap") in this set and I have not seen one available separately for this particular brand. If you want your set to be white without painting, be aware that the whites of this set are not all the same white and none of the pieces are a bright white. For me, it was a challenge to install the sliding pieces while attempting to remain properly balanced on a ladder.

I'm impressed with the quality of material. Pvc line set cover is thick PVC in very stiff. I think it'll last quite a while. The Dark Brown has a glossy finish, and it is a true brown not a bronze. The color works perfectly on my tutor home. It was a snap to install. This is a much nicer quality than I was expecting..

We are currently under way with the installation of a completely new HVAC system. This 4'' wide 16.5' long mini-split line set PVC cover kit will dress up the exterior line set and control wiring. It will also offer some protection from the weather and physical damage. A welcome feature is that this PVC cover is paintable to match the installation location. This PVC cover is simple to install and adjustable in length to fit your installation path requirements. We will have many left over pieces since our installation will only require approximately 2'-3' of cover. We are very happy that we ordered this KuriProtectShy 4'' wide 16.5' long mini-split line set PVC cover kit.
