The fittings are not FHT & MHT (Hose Thread) as stated in the listing. The top is Female 3/4" NPT and the bottom is Male 3/4" NPT. You can see it printed right on the filter in the photo. It can't be connected directly to the hose bib without an adapter, then you would need another adapter to connect the timer to the bottom. Useless for a hose-bib-based home drip system. It might be a good product if you need one with 3/4" NPT fittings on the ends. ... show more

I got this to add to my drip irrigation to filter the tap water before it gets to the pressure regulator. It has a very fine filter and will help keep the drip emitters clog free. It appears to be easy to clean with a quick removal of the cap and rinse of the filter then put it back together and get back to dripping. ... show more

There was leakage after installing, tried everything including new seals and put it on and off a few different times with no success. Says it’s hose thread on both ends but didn’t go on very smooth at all.

These filters do a good job of removing gunk from the water supply in order to protect my garden sprayers and my drip irrigation system. It is easy to remove the screen and clean it out as needed and once hooked up the units work great without leaking. However, these are not just a 'hook to your garden hose' style of fitting. I think there was some confusion in the listing at first, but indeed, both of the ends are NPT style of threads. I was able to use an adapter to allow this to be used with my garden hose and I can also use these in an application where I am running 3/4 inch PVC pipes to my irrigation system. ... show more
