Excellent Fairy Lights

I bought these to light the inside of a large lantern and they look amazing. The color is tilted to the golden side of white but that worked for since my lantern is gold speckled. The lights are VERY easy to program, and the wire so think it is barely discernible in the lantern. The remote that came with a battery works perfectly. Both the remote and the battery case tell you the number of the program you might choose, remain on, twinkle, etc. The battery case takes 3 AA batteries, and last a long time. My lights are still working strong after several weeks of coming on every night. The lights are bright, but you can dim them with the remote. I’m very happy with these lights and consider them a great value at the price.

I mean I like these lights because it’s a good price for four of them and I don’t have to get up to turn them off BUT you do need to use the remote and get pretty close to turn off the lights but turning them on surprisingly works well from a short distance. Also the lights look advertised as warm yellow but the lights are actually white. It’s okay cause I like the remote but if it didn’t have many options for modes and no remote then I woulda returned them bc of the color of the light. I actually don’t understand how the timer works but it’s cause I probably didn’t read the directions. Overall they’re cute and I like where I placed them. Bright, durable and easy to use

I used these to create Mufasa's head for a middle school production of Lion King. It took 5 of these strands, but they held up amazingly. Each LED was strung through the insulation board backing and the wiring was flexible yet durable enough that no lights went out. And they were incredibly bright too...no issues seeing them in the back of the 800 seat auditorium. I had the 5 battery packs velcro'd to the backside and a single remote controlled them easily. Remote worked up to 10' away, maybe another 1-2' if you're lucky. Other reviews about tangling are true, so take a deep breath when you unwrap them and have patience. I unraveled and straightened 1 entire strand across the living room carefully before starting to attach it to the board. This was definitely much easier than trying to untangle as I went. We just used the steady lights for the play. The flashing lights looked very Vegas. My only complaint is that most of the flashing modes automatically went from slow to fast and back in the same setting. I liked the slow pulse, but not being able to have it at that speed permanently meant we just went with steady.

Wire is fragile/Not Very Bright

I bought these lights because I like the look of fairy lights plus they were battery operated and I could get rid of the ugly extension cords hanging down my wall (I put them on the garland I hung above my windows). They were easy to spread around the garland for good coverage but the wire is very thin and would kink. I took the time to straighten it out but was worried the wire would snap. Several kinks later I decided to just leave the kink in the wire. One of the strings stopped working right away because the wire came loose from the battery pack. For the first week, the lights were bright, although not as bright as a regular string of LED lights. My family liked the look but they just weren't bright enough for me. Then they started to dim more as time went by and I didn't want to replace the batteries every few weeks. All-in-all not bad and I will probably use for another purpose.

Lots of little lights per strings and. I’ve and bright. I like all the light features. And you can brighten or dim the lights. You only need one of the remote controls it comes with as it controls all the separate lights, which is nice. But unraveling them takes a bit of patience

Ghost lights in my living room

The first part of this review is not about the product quality or anything else (which is great - buy it). It’s more of a warning about where you put the lights. Without going into too much detail, I have always had a life where there have been some spirits. I moved from a haunted apartment and got to the home. I’m in now and thought that the energy shift was great. It didn’t feel like it had the same vibes so I was stoked. in addition, my mom passed away on Christmas recently. Fast forward, I buy these lights and decide that I want to put them on a plant garland for my fireplace mantle to hide cords. I get them on there and they look beautiful. I walk away and turn on a piece of my Goon equipment. I come back and then the lights are on. I’m already thinking it’s weird. A few days pass, and I turn on my TV in the living room, and the lights come on as well, and they start cycling through all of the modes. It happened again and then a third time. Eventually, I had the thought that maybe I should googled this and realized that the battery packs on these run the same as a TV remote. I’m not sure why they turned on with the ghost equipment in a room far away but they absolutely turned on because of the electronic settings and I don’t know the exact term because I’m not an engineer or scientist. With all that said, they are good quality, and they look really great and it’s a good bang for the buck. The downside is that they come rolled up so immediately you have to figure out carefully how to untangle them. I would, however. Just a tip, if you’re going to put them on your living room mantle, unless you want to scare your guests, I would just leave the batteries out until you’re ready to use the lights… consider the fact that you have remote controlled lights.
