Received these hinges yesterday, and, let me tell you, they are heavy and strong. I have installed four of them with two more to install today. They are attached to my barn/shed doors that weigh in the neighborhood of 75 pounds each. Over the last 30 years, the doors have sagged and the original hinges no longer worked. These hinges are a great replacement. I will have to make a couple of small modifications to the doors in order to install the lower hinges. I am expecting these will outlast me, so no worries in terms of future.

I used these SANKINS 8-inch T-strap hinges on a shed door project, and overall I'm very happy with them. The hinges themselves seem strong, durable, and well-made. Once installed, they provided solid support and gave me confidence that they'll hold up well over time. Installation was easy and the look nice. The only downside was the included screws. They didn't seem to be the same quality as the hinges, and I wasn't comfortable relying on them for a long-term outdoor project. I ended up supplementing them with higher-quality screws that I already had. If the included hardware were better, this would easily be a 5-star product. That said, the hinges themselves are excellent and are the main reason I purchased the set. Overall, a good value and a solid choice for shed doors, gates, or fences.

Update: I contacted the seller of this item, and received a response by the end of the day. He offered several options for correcting my problem. Yesterday I received what was needed to make the purchase whole. Outstanding customer service! Accordingly, I have elevated the rating to 5 stars. I also continue to be impressed by the smooth performance of the hinges. Original Post: I needed to replace a gate, but did not want to replace the posts. Although the posts are sturdy and in good condition, they are a bit warped. The gate, however, was seriously sagging and partially rotted. It was important to me, therefore, that the hinges provided firm support in spite of the twist. These hinges have been working well for over a month. So far, I am very pleased with how well they are holding the gate in place. Their operation has been smooth and quiet. I do have one concern: The packet of screws was one short. Amazon has provided me with a link to the supplier, to see if anything can be done concerning this. In the meantime, I have used a deck screw on the bottom hinge. It works. Its color just does not match. The four star rating is solely for the missing screw. Overall, the product has met expectation. Only time will tell how well the hinges themselves will hold up.

We just installed three of these on a very heavy shed door yesterday, and were a bit apprehensive about the 80 pound per hinge weight limit. Thus, we tossed the screws that came with them (way too short for our project) and used 3.5" long 5/16" bolts, washers and nuts. They were easy to install and are working the door flawlessly. No sag, breakage or movement once installed. Installed them on the door first, then on the door frame. The price was good, and we will update this review in the future if necessary.

The hinges seem okay. Solid and the black paint looks like it will hold up. BUT...the screws are garbage. I used both phillips and square drive tips (it uses both) and they both strip easily. So either use your own screws or skip this brand altogether.
