  • Great product for price.
Color: Black & Black
Installed on a 2010 tahoe. Great hardware. Great craftsmanship. Went together well. Will need to slightly modify the airbox for the hood to shut properly. I'll do this with a hammer or angle grinder. Overall a great product for the cost. No instructions, but if you need instructions to install this, you shouldn't be installing it. ... show more

  • Decent for the money
Color: Black & Black
No instructions but very easy install with basic knowledge and tools. I did have to trim 1/2” of the box but fits great after that. Air temp did drop 15deg at idle with engine at full temp. The box actually fits tight to hood and only a small gap at bottom close to radiator. Over all decent quality for the price ... show more

  • Good value - happy customer
Color: Silver & Black
My decision to choose "THIS" product was based on both reviews and pictures. This was the only less expensive product I viewed where the intake tube was the same size as the intake itself. Others were smaller and "stepped up" to mate with the intake. I thought this was a good thing for "un-restricting" air flow. Opening the box, the product looked of good quality. All parts were included. However, this product did not include a bottom for the airbox so I probably did more "taping" than otherwise necessary. I have a 2009 GMC Yukon. After installing the airbox, I did a fit check, first without the rubber seal. The hood would close but was bumped up a little on the side. When adding the rubber seal on the top edge of the airbox, I needed to do some trimming of the metal airbox which amount to about 1/2" across the top of the back plate and rounding off the front corner of the side plate about 1/2". Otherwise, installation was pretty straight forward if you watch a video (no instructions were included). ... show more

  • Do not buy this.
Color: Black & Black
I know you’re saying it’s only 90 dollars, I’ll give it a shot. Don’t waste your time. Fit and finish is terrible. The clamps it comes with will break, you get no instructions, the hood won’t close easily, no clamps for the breather tube and after figuring all that out the truck was running super lean. After 20 minutes of driving, Long term fuel trims were pegged at +25 with P0171 codes. There is a vaccum leak somewhere. I uninstalled and reinstalled twice to confirm everything was in place. I can only guess that it was pulling air in where the MAF sits (not a tight fit) or there was somewhere else it was pulling from. Save your money and if you decide “You can do it!” Take a picture of how it was boxed, you’ll want that when you’re packing it back up to return. Reinstalled OEM intake box and fuel trims returned to 1.5 and .78 This thing will ruin your motor. ... show more

Of course like everyone is saying no instructions. But I will tell you you need to removed the airbox plate. Molding a little long around the air box A little trimming needed. Plate sticks up a little but functional for the air box. Tube could be 1-2" longer for better fit but overall looks good, sounds good. Noticeable increase in hp and torque but my mps went down from 17+ to 15.5mpg. ... show more

I’ll help….. long part of throttlebody elbow goes to outside…. Tabs of heat shield go to outside…. Must remove old air filter mounting plate, you will use 2 of these bolts when installing new shield and the radiator fan mount bolt for long tab on new shield….connect air filter with adapter through shield to flex joint first….. thank me later ... show more

  • 2013 Suburban - Fit, but needed help
Color: Black & Black
First and foremost, unplug the negative on the battery before installing. Makes the sensors reset by the time you install. The heat shield was the tricky part to maneuver. The instructions really didn’t specify this. But I saw where it was supposed to screw into and had to fold the walls to have it fit proper. Not a big deal, but it could have been a little clearer. It looks great! Sounds great! And the structure of it once it was installed is very durable. It took some time for the Air flow sensor to accept the new intake. But no more Engine lights and it runs great! ... show more
